I’m 23 year olds and I just bought my first pair of rollerblades ever! Haven’t rollerbladed since I was like 10. Very excited but also scared shitless. Idk how i was so fearless as a kid but as an adult the fear of falling is unreal lol. But love the videos man. You’re a good teacher/instructor.

yep same, im 26 and just bought a pair yesterday and havent rollerbladed since i was ~10 too. Tried rolling around in my house to get more comfortable but today im venturing to my sidewalk i think.

one of the reasons why i don't t stop or powerslide in aggressive skates, is because the wheels are so expensive XDD i just do awkward movements to slow down and gradually stop :P

The Advantage of aggressive skates are the harder wheels, so especially on smooth surfaces you wheels will survive a lot of slides

i don't understand why the wheel's price is so high. they're ripping the fuck out of rollerbladers. i don't say that they should cost $0.5 each, but when i see prices like $40 or more(for 8 of course) i'm like "WTF?". wheels price has to go down.

Most tutorials skip the swiddle (or what) stop, but actually right I tend to use that a lot when I don't want to be hard on my wheels

This is seriously the best channel to learn skating. Im not even interested in Agressive skating but the explenation is just too good to miss. Where i live it goes downhill all the time and thats really scarry, your step by step explenation gives me confidence in my training to concuer the hills, one step at a time. Keep it up !!

I think I have just now understood the motion for the powerslide with that entry with that slo-mo takes. You kinda start a mohawk transition, but as soon as you place the first foot you throw the second into the slide, is that right? The heel toe movements in aggressive sk8ing would be king for fencing footwork, and drumming double bass gallop exercises.

Thank you, I moved from the islands at the start of middle school. We moved to a country town in Utah called Bluffdale. I was bullied over my pigeon accent so much that my parents made me take Hooked on phonics tutoring lol broke the pigeon right outta me. Unless im at a lua and around ohana, Then the moke comes back🤙

How do you powerslide on aggressive skates without your soulplate hitting the ground?

There is a small window where the angles are perfect to slide, but high enough so the soulplate doesnt hit the ground. Try it on very smooth areas first. The need of a higher angle (when having higher speed) can be compensated by stronger legs and more power when initiate the slide.

Omg so im a beginner here and i kept on running on a wall like 5 times a day i remember i was on the streets then i fell on a wet sement lol then i havent tried to learn to stop so thought my self to do something so I didn’t know the word and know I watched it i did a power slide but my power slide is a little baby power slide like i dont put much momentum on it but i mean it works i guess

Glad they are helping, if your feet are constantly sore during skating your skates may be too small or your socks are too thick. Try replacing the foot beds sometimes that helps . Best of Luck

You should use a very wide lense so we can see the blades properly or just get your camera person to step back a bit.

I've seen a lot of pro bladers on aggressive skates parallel breaking very suddenly using their soulplates (almost like a royale but feet much closer together and body slanted). I've seen tutorials on how to do this with big wheels but I've never seen any video on how to properly do this on aggressive skates using your souls. Would you consider that something difficult?
