I love how Chanel bags get hurt basically by just EXISTING😂 way too stressful for me. Wrapping the chain? Using the felt? I just would NOT do that....better for me to stick with LV Canvas.

I’ve tried organizing my bags in various ways (style, brand size etc) but I find its easier for me to choose when they are by color. So if I need a brown shade for example , I have them all on one shelf. Shoes I do by style. Also I store suede and velvet bags with fabric in between the hardware and the bag. They are delicate and the hardware always leaves dents. I’m not as fussy with the leather bags unless the hardware is heavy.

I have to figure out how to store some bags I don't use often but still have easy access to...so I don't forget about them lol 😁. I put my most used in a closet that has most of the light blocked but I still see them 👍. Thanks for sharing have a great day.

That is SO cool that that's why the Lady Dior handles flap downward in that annoying way. (Now I love the bag even more and have to rewatch your other video about its irritating qualities. lol)

Great advice. I learned the hard way about leaving a stiff felt organizer in a Birkin. Luckily, I noticed it in time and the crease only happened on one side where the fold comes out and had been sitting on the organizer. I switched to a softer satin organizer and do not store it inside. Also, for bag hangers, I hang my smaller top handle bags with chains on stands that are half moon shaped at the top so it does not crease the handle. It makes the displaying of the bags nice and the chain is not hanging on the bag.

Yes I am that person who mummifies their bags, and have paper wrapped around my charm too 🤪 😂 For the lady, hold the handles up right, and then pull them to one side over the rings on one side (hope that makes sense) they stand up better in that position Don’t you have shelves on the other side of the room too ? 👀

I would suggest just a damp (with water) cloth on the shelves (then dry them with a dry cloth) vs furniture polish so you don’t have an oily surface. ❤

Interesting tips that surely work for storing. But the chain rubs the leather, the hardwear and charms scratch, and the leather gets pressure all time when the bags are being used. But I'm thinking this as a person, who doesn't have so many bags 😄

Be careful with the furniture polish on your shelves. There’s typically oil in it and it can sit atop the surface unnoticed and seep onto the bottom of your bags.
