How To Straighten Hair WITHOUT HEAT! (Straight Hair Tutorial)
Hi Guys!
I thought I'd make a separate video on how to straighten hair WITHOUT ANY HEAT!! I have figured out these techniques from experience and on my own. These techniques of straightening hair have helped me quit the heat & straightener completely!
TECHNIQUE #1: SLEEP ON HAIR OVERNIGHT: Slip your hair behind your back after taking a shower, When your hair is 80%**** air dry, sleep on your back while you are sleeping on your hair and you should wake up with straighter hair! If you're worried about this making your hair flat, I don't find it to do that at all, your hair should still be volumized and silky smooth.
TECHNIQUE #2: HAIR INSIDE SHIRT: Slip your hair straight into your shirt after taking a shower and you should get straighter hair by doing this (within 30 min to an hour) I always keep my hair in my shirt for up to an hour, just to ensure my ends don't curl up during the day.
I hope these ways have helped to encourage you to use them, and have motivated you to quit the heat like I have! :)

Tara Curran I know it looks like it but I did the technique the day before I filmed so that's why my hair is straighter. If you check out some of my other vids, you can see that my hair is really wavy, but I sleep on my hair to always get it to become straight. 😅

I think this is actually a good tutorial. I have long hair myself and find the wrap- around method to be very damaging for my hair, I rip out more hair than it's worth. So what I do is I brush hair and sleep with a loose ponytail on top of my head, followed by another band, followed by another band, and sleep with hair placed above pillow and away from my body. So basically I have a ponytail with three hair bands on it at various lengths of my hair. When I wake up it is voluminous and mostly straight, no brushing or styling required in the morning. ^.^

That's called African threading, seems you discobered by accident. It's actually meant to stretch curls not straighten hair. This won't work on most curly ppl, maybe on wavy hair

Hi! My hair is really short, like 5 cm longer then shoulder length, and it's with waves. I never dry my hair with an hair dryer, just let it dry itself, but I'm going to try to follow those tips.

The best tecnique is to wrap the hair around the head when it is a 90% dry and let it dry like this, you can also go to sleep like that, and when you wake up you will have a straight hair.. believe me i only style my bangs with the blow dryer and that's it.. it really works. You only need to practice more..here in dominican republic its is called tubi jejej 😃

jidnyasa shirwale sure.. you need to practice more, until you learn how to do it properly.. I part my hair into two and then I star to wrap it, using bobby pins, when I finish I put a scarf to secure it.. and then I let the hair dryes and that's all.. I speak Spanish, sorry if I made a mistake.. 😊

Another way I use is to separate your hair into 2 sections like you're making pigtails.Then brush your hair out REALLY well, like until it's practically straight. Then, go through with a comb. After that, I tie my hair close to the top, not at the top, and close to the bottom. If your hair is longer then past your stomach you might want to use hair ties in between. I repeat this with either side. I haven't slept with it, but if you did you might want to use a few more ties so it doesn't get messy if you're a messy sleeper like me.

Nancy, yes I have mentioned this in my previous videos, but people kept asking questions about it, and asked how I get my hair to be less frizzy and straight since I don't use heat, and I thought it made sense to make a separate video about it. 😊 hope you don't mind Lol, Especially because these techniques are different from other techniques that I have seen and I wanted to better explain it. Avila Cano I have very thick Natural wavy hair and I have the same problem. I look like a clown honestly. I usually brush it the night before and put it in braids. If you want the waves to appear than make sure your hair is wet but if you just don't want it puffy, make sure it's dry. One or two braids is what I do. And in the morning I take it out and it's way less puffy. I'm not sure if it works with curly hair but it's better than nothing.

Avila Cano don't go to sleep with wet hair, always use Some kind of moisturiser or oil to prevent frizz. Scrunch your hair to form better curls And only brush your hair when it's wet otherwise it will only get frizzy. 👍🏼

Avila Cano I have natural curly thick hair. It gets very puffy when I brush it. (It looks like an afro😂😂😂) I put my hair in braids (1-3) and then I take it out then put it in a ponytail. I also put oil and coconut grease in my hair to tame the frizz. It works😊 I hope it helps you so u don't get made fun of.

Avila Cano same on my vlogs it's terrible so I have curly puffy hair when it's dry, so I just brush it with water, shove my hair in the sink, or shower no blow drying at all it might sorta puff up a small bit but it will be extra curly and fabulous 😀 ~love mary

Can you please do a video on ow to make hair dry quicker? I've only been able to wash my hair at night and I have to resort to use the blow drier because I can't get it to dry naturally in a quick way :/ ps: about the tip you gave me last time (hair rinses). Tried the vinegar one. Leaves my hair pretty dry so I had to stop it :/

First one definitely doesn't work for me. I have sleeping disorders where i toss and turn, kick, move around and sometimes sleepwalk. I usually just wet my hair, brush it out so theres no bumps, and pull it tight around a hair roller, works for me.
