I recently received a bad haircut where the stylist made my layers VERY short and choppy, and I’ve tried everything to style but it seems impossible to have a nice style. My hair is very thick and wavy/curly but I like straightening as well. The cut was supposed to be a medium to short Aline with blended layers, but no such luck. Any suggestions?

I'm late but something similar very similar happened to me (same hair type too) but what helped most was to find a different stylist who knows how to cut curls/waves and have them "fix" it, and also I've been using rosemary oil and biotin to grow it back faster and it's grown like 2 inches since the bad haircut in june. Hope that helps?

I 💗 your curly hair. I use the Kérastase oil for shine/hydration at the ends, but it doesn’t tackle my stubborn flyaways around my face. Is there a hair pomade or spray I can use? Thanks! 🥰

Yes! I totally know what you are talking about. If my hair still won't cooperate I use the Bumble and Bumble Semi-Sumo-still gives shine but has more weight and hold.

I know! I used to only be able to wear it curly because I am from humid Virginia. Now I live in the dry LA weather so I rock it straight.

I can straighten my whole head in about 20 mins and I have medium thickness/weight. This straightener does help a lot with the timing bc it is hot but not damaging.
