Can anyone please explain the difference between the Derrick Pulley system at 3:01 and the one with the single set of wheels? Why do we need a set of 10 vertical and horizontal set of wheels for wire pulling? Why is 5 wheels not enough? What is the difference? I need to know!!! I have to make a tiny jig for small gauge jewelry wire which gets tangled up occasionally. I work with 18 gauge to 24 gauge mostly in round, square, and half round profiles. The half round is a real pain being so thin and easily tangles up. I have 50 ft to untangle. This wire is expensive! I need to make a very small jig to untangle. Please, please someone explain the difference between the 5-wheel machine and the 10-wheel machine!!

@MJ Remy: Thank you very much for your question. The 10-pulley system has pulleys which are 90° displaced, thus giving the system higher straightening capabilities than 5-pulleys, less tension will remain in the wire after straightening. These wire straighteners are for steel wires 7-10mm² or AWG 1 - 000, therefore not applicable for your application (AWG 18/24) at hand. Greetings from Neumarkt, Your DEHN Social Team
