You could try keratin (permanent hair straightening) its a treatment you get at a salon and they apply it similar to hair dye and it keeps your hair straight for 3 to 6 months. Your hair will not really need any brushing when you get it. (It doesn't change anything about your hair besides making it straight). I recommend a video by Rachel on Rachel and Jun (that's their channel "rachel and jun" the video is called "japanese permanent hair straightening" and there's another video called "1 year after straight perm") the treatment is also know as a straight perm. (Rachel has red hair btw) the treatment is spending though it can range from 100$ to 1000$ USD, hopefully this helps

I go to him every 8 weeks for the Brazilian keratin straightening, but please remember nothing you do to your hair can be permanent because your hair is growing every day. Don’t listen to this chick in the video. Her hair is naturally straight. She doesn’t know anything. Get in touch with me if you want my guy’s name.

My hair looks similar to hers naturally but slightly more crazy lmao I've got these pieces in the front that always wave outwards and I've the hair around my ears always sticks out

Your hair didn't need straightening to begin with, looks the same as before. But if someone truly has deep waves or kinks in some areas, just sweeping flat iron across like you did will not get rid of them.

I have naturally curly hair very similar to Kenny G. My hair just grows very curly altogether. If I’m not braiding my hair, I’m usually using a bunch of Cantu product to make sure the hair stays as curly as possible. This would be my first time straightening my hair with a flat iron at all. Usually I just use some sort of a comb or brush to try to straighten out the curls but eventually my hair just curls back up because that’s just the way my hair is. Would this work for me considering how curly my hair is and if so, how close to the scalp does one need to get to be able to get rid of the curls and make the hair straight? I'm a boy with long hair. First time I tried straightening my hair out. I was sweating like crazy, the entire back of my tank top was wet. I had to take a shower. I let my mom or my aunt straighten my hair out.

do you have any tips for like not being scared to burn yourself? i have super thick, curly hair so i kind of have to have it in the highest setting, but i just freak out because i have bad anxiety so i get so terrified i’m going to burn myself

Just curious do you need to wash your hair before straightening? Or is it okay to just apply some heat protectant when it's dry and go from there?

Im just afraid at using a flat Iron and burning myself😭 i dont trust myself at using heat tools on myself or anyone else because I hate the feeling of heat on my head😢 i just tried but I have no idea how to do the back of my head because I cant see myself from the back and I cant move my hands correctly when looking in a mirror😰 help please!

It should be ok. However, your hair might get heat damaged over time. It’s always best to protect it.

@@asiatic_lily_kitty4819 It depends on your hair's thickness, not just its shape. I used to have straight hair before puberty hit me like a truck, but my hair would tangle easily because it was also thin.

i dont think it matters as long as your hair is fully dry to avoid damaging right off the bat and is freshly clean so the night before should work just fine or showering before and using a blow dryer to dry it before straightening

Hi, yes. The straightening done with a straightener like mine is temporary. It will last until you was your hair or if there is humidity in the atmosphere your hair might get frizzy. 🙂 Hope this helps thanks for watching.
