Funny I have 6 fitted hats all 7 3/8. Some are too tight, some are too big.

I was a real skeptic, but this guy offered a simple solution that works! One size too tight, the next size up too big, and also a larger Bill portion of the Hat. So I took one of my smaller ones just now, and then about ten seconds later, then a little more tinkering, I have a hat that fits perfect, with the right size bill. New Era 59Fiddy, here I come!

Worked surprisingly well. Won't be as accurate as a hat stretch tool. But if you have control and whenever you hear any popping stop and see how it fits.

I have weird luck with stretch fit hats. My hair makes me a 7 5/8 but I bought an all black Yankees hat that had a black sticker that read it was a 7 1/2. The hat definitely fits over my hair nicely now

it doesn’t depend on your hair as much as your head shape, if your hair is like this i think you’d probably need between a 7 3/8 or a 7 5/8
