So many wonderful ideas. I'll add (or emphasize?) one more - add a flat surface for your guests to put down their stuff. Don't have every surface decorated, and also, give them a surface! My interior designer recommended adding a small dresser at the side of the bed rather than a nightstand, and then only have a lamp on it. I think it's also good to think of a GOOD hotel room.

Hello Nickelini, that is a great and practical tip that is surely appreciated by guests :) I like the idea of a dresser, to maximise the surface area and approaching it like a welcoming hotel, without adding too many of your own personal items! xx

Lovely choices! All so calm and relaxing. When I updated my guestroom, I chose light green and white. It has the feel of a serene garden. I enjoy going in there! 💚

I would be delighted to be a guest in any of the rooms you showed. My one suggestion for guest rooms or B&B rooms is to leave plenty of space on top of bedside tables and dressers for your guests to put their things. This may mean holding back a bit on decorative items, but your guests will thank you.

Love all your videos. Particularly enjoy your calm voice, not jarring like some others. Some lovely ideas here, all look restful places to stay. Particularly like the jewelry dish idea, have not thought about that previously, strange as I always place my jewelry, when away, on the bedside table

The absolute essential in my guest rooms is a fabulously beautiful desk. Everybody needs a place to sit and work on their laptop or tablet.
