How to: Style Big Chop (Natural Hair)

I did my first big chop in May of 2022. This is how I've learned to style my hair.

I commend you for going this short, bc I have a pixie cut now and it’s dyed and permed and I have new growth coming in and I want to cut it super low and just have my natural hair color and curl pattern grow out from fresh, so you making it very easy for me to want to do this😭😭😭

Your curls popping right the wash. Mine doesn't I have to put products in for definition. The top..that takes even more work bc its very loose curl. Love your hair!

In addition to what they said, you may be able to achieve this look by palm rolling. She didn't have to do it for long but she did it a little. Also, search utube for palm rolling. I use this method and my lil curls be popping too 😁 good luck luv!

type” but to help people I have “low porosity” hair and when I looked at the hair chart it’s in the 4’s and it looks like 4c 😭 I barely understood the chart. My husband did more research than me 😂
