I love them all and love that you are so thoughtful in discussing why you put the different pieces together. Figuring out a wardrobe and style that works for me is key to my thinking right now since I am 60+ and didn't give enough thought to this issue before, so I love all the influencers who help me with that rather than throwing out hauls and the "look of the month" trend.

Hi Jamie! This was really fun and interesting! The boots definitely add an unexpected element and allow for your creativity to shine. Thank you for the inspiration, as always! I loved your hiking outfit with the chunky sweater and leggings. Hope all is well with you and yours! We're moving in 2 weeks. So, it's fun to be letting go of things. I did a small fashion show for the hubby wearing the items I had when I met him 10 years ago. We both had a sentimental connection to that time, and this was a fun way to let go, laughing and reliving some memories. I have then put together a beautiful donation pile for someone who will create new memories with all those bright and fitted dresses, which are no longer my style :) Have a beautiful week ahead, and hope the lockdown will be over soon for you! Thank you so much Natalya! Wow, you're moving! New house or new city? That's so exciting, but a HUGE job. Especially when you've been in one place a long time. It's crazy how much you quickly accumulate. I still think about when we first moved to Australia, and barely had enough stuff to fill a one bedroom apartment. Now we have a (technically) four bedroom house, and not enough space. Eek! That sounds like a lot of fun though, and what a way to relive all those memories :) I've got my first vaccination, with the second one next month. They're announcing new freedoms for people who are vaccinated soon, so hoping that'll allow us to at least see some friends, fingers crossed! Stay safe and best of luck with the move xx

I loved your monochromatic themes but that you played with textures - goodness knows fall is fast approaching here and I will need to use these tips for sure. I find that proportions are key as well as something being waterproof and easy to walk in. How do you find they are comfort wise?

Thank you! Yes won't be too far away. I imagine you must be soaking up those final days of summer. I always do :) They're very comfortable - can wear them all day no issue. They initially felt q bit snug but stretched the first one or two times I wore them. I sized down a half size but I think if you wanted to wear thick socks, to go with your usual size x

You’re too kind my darling! Hopefully this gave you a few ideas as I know autumn is just around the corner for you now 😚 And I am grateful for a backyard. Lockdown has been extended to end of September. Husband is double vaxxed, and I’ve got my second jab booked in for late September - feel comfort knowing we will be protected when the city slowly starts to open up again, as any chance of covid zero feels like a long lost dream at this point (800+ cases a day now 😔). Hope you’re staying safe! xx

Yes I was thinking that I have had chunky boots a while now...I think Covid has kind of given us about a year of not doing much so its a bit strange.

Yes, Autumn is here officially here, still having warm days, but the is a crispness in the air on some days and especially at night. And now you're entering into your Spring season, which is always such a lovely time of the year. I am so sorry to hear lockdown there has been extended to the end of September, but glad to hear you and your family have a backyard to enjoy so not feeling stuck indoors. Also glad Luke's fully vaxxed, and you'll be getting your second jab soon! I've double vaxxed since May, yet keeping with all the protocol to stay safe. I agree, it is a comfort having the vaccine, and now we may need a booster because of the Delta Variant. That is terrible that there's been 800+ cases a day over there, I hope things have calmed down a bit by now? I am staying safe and well, thank you, and hope the same for you and your family, Jamie-Lee - and will be thinking of you as you will be getting your second jab soon! Take GOOD care, lovely !! xx 😚

I really like the outfit with the lighter coat and wide jeans - they balance the boots nicely. I do have a pair of chunky black boots, but I do wish their shaft was a little narrower, as my legs always look a little like matchsticks in them!

I had to pause the video once I spotted that Alexander McQueen belt and go on the hunt for it. I can't spend that amount on a belt but found an Amish belt maker on Etsy doing pretty much the exact belt for a fraction and the quality looks superb. That belt is breathtaking! Gotta love the Amish! :)

I usually wear tall socks instead of tights. You’re skinny enough to not be bothered by tights so much, but they’re torture on me🙂

I personally think it is, but it's all down to what you're comfortable with. Which for you might mean something which comes down a little longer in the front :)
