How to style TWA extremely short natural hair with Eco Styler Gel

For this Tutorial you will need:
1. ECO Styler Professional Styling Gel for MAX HOLD amzn.to/2bdjf31
2. Comb for parting amzn.to/2bdjUBv
3. Close knit soft brissel brush
This method works for any type of hair as I am not mixed and have very kinky hair. Please ensure to moisturize your hair before styling.

this is her hair growing from her scalp and she's happy and comfortable. she wakes up as nature made her and can go about her day without having to worry about what peruvian hair parcel didn't arrive in the post to then glue to her head and pretend it's hers. she is winning. there is something so beautiful about a black woman proud of her hair.

Personally, I liked your video. I have short curly natural hair and it does take a lot of gel to tame my hair. I probably wouldn't have used quite as much as you used but that's what you had to do for your hair so rock on chick. Good video.

Simply beautiful! Thank you for sharing your short styles. I'm about to cut my locks off and you are making me want to keep a little bit of hair LOL. I'm pretty sure I'm going bald first but this is a nice option for when it grows. I also like your other short hair style with the 3 cornrows on each side and the pulled gel curls. When I wore my natural hair loose, I never thought to do things like that. I'm so grateful for your videos and for the youtube natural hair community.

Shauna-lee Smith lol. Let me tell you about the gel. Honestly. I don't think I had to use so much gel. What I realized is that when I used the brush, it frizzed my hair up back. So what you should really do is use the brush in the first stage and then smooth it down with your hands to avoid using that much gel. Outside of that the style was very convenient and everyone loved it. Most importantly, ensure your hair is COMPLETELY dry before taking your head tie off. If it is not fully dry that style won't be complete.

if the gel turns white then it is time to co wash it out and redo it no problem, and the hair will look fresh and grow.

What did you moisturize with before you started? Is it better to put it on before or after the gel?

I don't remember what I moisturized with then, but I would recommend a good leave in conditioner that leaves hair nice and moist. I moisturize before.

You used a lots of Eco Styling Gel, you're hair came out Beautiful! I, live the finish look :0). I'm going to try this, but with a different styling gel for some reason Eco Styling Gel makes my scalp itch like I have Fleas on my scalp. :0( I'm going to "try" Set Me Up by Herbal Essence its None Alcohol & No Protein hopefully it won't cause an itchy scalp. Wish me luck! I, will let you know how it came out OK!

+Françoise N Hmmmmmm. I wouldn't say it makes my hair grow faster and longer than its usual rate, but I do know that it doesn't affect my hair in a terrible way and it can last for up to two weeks depending on the type of hair you have and how you take care of it.
