PS or can you buy the white coating in sheets just place/ stick on yourself.

Hi what was in the box “stone painting “ ? Or did the slate already have the white coating on it. I would like to buy / make a white polymer/ polyester paint on coating to use on flat grey rock slate?? Sublimation??I don’t want ready made slate blanks with the coating already on them. I think it’s a closely held secret in the trade. I suspect that it’s not rocket science or some kind of rare earth mineral It’s just easier for some people who might need simple & it’s a good little earner for the companies that sell the ready made blanks. Please help as I am determined, even if you don’t have the answers but who else to contact. I will send off a piece to the person who comes through for me & mentioned your business in my posting.
