Great video content Alex. A lot of people, everyone goes through this. Very practical advice. I would like to hear your opinion on what you think people should include or leave out in a portfolio. From personal experience, and what you have seen. Also, what you think potential clients or companies are looking for exactly in a portfolio. Considering they can be very subjective, and every company’s branding can be different. Thnx 😊

I started two big projects 4 months ago, one is from a tutorial and another is something i'm building on my own. So far I have not used Trello, although I've used it in the past. I have big tasks for JWT Authentication with Refresh Tokens and Access Tokens. What I find difficult about dividing big tasks is that I am still learning the concepts and the lines in which to divide the task is ambiguous to me. I've encountered this issue time and time again, whenever I have a big task. If I don't know what the task is consist of already I can't divide it in my head, as I don't know where this task ends and another one starts. So what I've always done is to just start coding and then write the tasks as I encounter them. I find it easier to imagine what I need to do when I actually get my hands on the keyboard.

That's a great video. The thing i'll add to that is building something that you like. I started a React Native project on Jan 1st this year and i'm still coding, lots of chrome tabs open right now and i'm scared to close them 😂 (you'll understand once you leave tutorials). I started by writting my plan on Google Keep with checkboxes. Everytime I finish a feature I check it off. Now i'm pretty much done, just waiting for Google to finish the review process on Play Store, so exited and scared at the same time

This was actually same advice but told in a different way.👍 It doesn't matter how much u know, what technology u will be using, it us just that if u need to do it, u really need to it, NO SUGARCOAT and SHORTCUTS. When u go all by urself without any tutorial help or etc, what u will go through is 90% thinking+frustration and only 10% coding work which will make u 100% confident to take on ur next project. I have myself gone through this process, i was building "attendance system" for my clg sem as mini project and trust me i had gone through hell, those sleepless and "feeling no future nights" i had like 0 life left while doing this project. I did take help of chatgpt, but even get ryt ans from it is a big deal 😅. So long story short, that 2 months i put in that website, have really boosted my confidence and most importantly given me confidence not to go back to "html css js" tutorial hell again😅. Thanks for reading my feelings if u have read till here. PS: reply (2+4!) to let me know 😜
