I solved this issue way back. Whenever my cat tried to bite me, I did the same every time and left him confused. Now he knows his place.

I was bit by a cat and ended up in the hospital with a systemic infection. Always clean cat bites right away, and see an urgent care. Also keep an eye on possible infection. If you have swelling, redness going up and around the bite, and severe pain, it is probably infected. Stay safe❤

When I was younger, I was teasing a cat and he flipped out and ran up my arm onto my shoulder then up over my head biting me about a dozen times. Very painful and a lesson WELL learned.

We're a cat family. I and my family have had to take care of 15 Kittens, two baby momas and 4 strays and NON of them ever acted like what happened in the video. The secret, Respect and Love. And knowing when they are in the mood. If they are they'll go to you. You don't go to them.

While dramatic, it is true. Our cats are indoor/outdoor cats. My mother in law got a small bite when two of them decided they were going to have a literal cat fight in the house and within a day her arm had swollen all the way up her arm. She ended up getting sepsis and is now currently waiting for a specialized surgeon to trim the dead skin that resulted from the bite and clear the infection. It's almost a week from when she was bit too. They think she's going to have to be in there for another week as well.

Growing up we had this huge grey cat that would actively hunt me and my brother. It was muscular and scared people that would stop by and see him for the first time. Some people would not come back over. You had to be ready at all times. It would attack us in our sleep. That thing was crazy. God I loved that cat.

I had a cat as a kid that never meowed just growled and hissed he was so big and strong i got a buzz out of just trying to pick him up without being attacked. He was known as the cat with attitude by all the neighbors by the way he pranced around and stole all the other cats food and got in a lot of fights. Man I loved that cat!!

Fun fact: if a cat rolls over on it’s back expressing their stomach, don’t pet their stomach It’s usually A sign of attack. Another fun fact: cats don’t like belly pets because it’s where are of their body systems are.

My cat wakes me up every morning by nibbling on my face. What you really gotta do is just respect your cat. Like they said about the ears thing. If your cat wants to be left alone leave it alone, a lot of cats will play bite like I mentioned earlier my cat usually wakes me up by nibbling or biting me. Always wash your hands after playing with your cats. You will not die or be infected if you are careful and respect your cat. For stray cats it’s better to call a vet or animal control then trying to capture it yourself, if you can’t wrap your hand in a towel. Do not threaten or get mad at your cat their just hanging out, and if your cat is over aggressive no matter what you do you may want to try behavior or training and if you can’t you may need to surrender the cats if it’s a risk to you or others.

I have never thought of cats as that dangerous before, although knowing an attack can be painful. When I was a kid I played with kittens with my bare hands and often got scratched, maybe bitten but I dont remember.

Actually wild cats are dangerous. They are Feline animals similar to Lions, cheetahs, Tigers, etc. The reason we choose Cats as Feline pets is because they are smaller compared to other feline animals.

@CHAOS in the united states, it’s really unlikely you’ll get rabies from a cat. i took a friend who was bitten by a stray to the hospital, and the doctor was like you’re not getting rabies from a cat here.

I have a cat at home that came out of the woods that lets me pet him. Something's when it's playing, it may bite me lightly, but not hard enough to cause any wounds. I know these types of bites are harmless, however, you should still wash your hands after touching the cat. Generally though when I'm holding that cat in my arms, it seems relaxed and purring. The several cats that I have around the house do seen to do a good job at keeping the rats away since before having cats, we used to have allot of rats inside the house.

Not sure how he became so used to me, I guess I remember picking him up since he was a kitten last year. He seems to be close to being an adult, going on one year, it's about equivalent to a human being 15 years old. That's how old I was on May 11th, 1999.

I used to be scared of cats but I'm not I go out side everytime with my Mom and I see cats so I quickly sit by them and pet them I love the ginger cat🥰

I have rescued 15 cats, stray cats never ever been bitten. I have always spoken & moved slowly around any cat. I always respect their space & only pet them if they come to me & lay nearby next to a leg or foot. Also I develop a relationship by respecting each cat's personality. Some want attn others only come for food & treats or to play. Cats tell you what they want with their nonverbal cues.

Yes becz thy were in need of help somtimes thy are not in mood nd over stimulating disturbing cats sleep can be dangerous nd neutred or spayed cat less likely to get angry then not fixed. Ya at somepoint fixed one can also attack but for them disturbing nd loving there is fine between them even though cats might not need love all the time but thy need their space 80% rest 20% love and care

Be careful since they might attack strangers, dogs, other cats or a family member. Make sure to see their behavior around people. Keep them away from stray, wild or other pet animals. Even if they don't attack you, which they might end up doing someday, they might attack people or another animal right under your nose. Short version: be careful and watch them

@@margaritaosorno6635 and we’ve had multiple visitors come to our home, they usually pick the cats up before they even get to know them and the cats never bite, if they want to be dropped they wiggle they’re way out of peoples arms, my cats are use to humans, but we’ve never had any other animals so you are right about the animal part.

My Siberian cat bit me a week ago. It was a deep bite to the hand, I went to A&E on advice from my G.P They prescribed me antibiotics. I returned the next day and the swelling had become severe and they told my to double up on the antibiotics. Last Friday I returned to my G.P as the infection was tracking up my arm. He informed me that A&E had not prescribed the correct antibiotics for a cat bite and he suggested that I go back to Accident and Emergency which I did. During this third visit I was told that I needed to see a plastic surgeon. To cut a long story short I spent the next three days in hospital receiving Antibiotics via IV infusion narrowly avoiding the need to have my hand requiring surgery to remove the infection. World wide medical advice is that you should always take a cat bite very seriously and act quickly.

This video is the best out of all the how to survive vids because cat attacks are super common. Like he says, best to know the signs. If your cat seems irritated, leave it alone or you'll get a claw in the skin. I ended up with stitches from mine.

When I was 12 i was feeding cheese to my cat and he bite my index finger and refused to let go till bone was visible and it almost tore off. And my hand was badly scratched because I was trying to break free. It didn't change anything I still love and play with cats and getting minor cuts and scratches are just love marks of a cat owner ❤

Today I was walking in one of my families house and jumped from the chair and at my when I was walking. She just randomly hissed and was all mad at me. I did nothing. I think she was growling too. I backed away and shut the door in a bedroom. I was shaking because the cat also jumpscared me. It doesn't help that I am already scared of some cats and dogs

Once I rescued a cat from my roof, and it scratched my arm with its leg when some dogs started barking at it from a fence. I still have the scars today, but I didn't feel any pain. Weird, because it was on the inside part of my arm, which has a softer skin, so it should have hurted as hell

When I was 7 I got bit by a stray cat. She ripped on top of my right hand bad. I lost quite a bit of blood. I was scared of my parents so I hid it. And within a month it was healed. I guess I was lucky. Her sharp teeth sent incredible pain down my spine
