I was a co for 3 years at the Ramsay II unit. The inmates use to try to convince me that I thought I was better than them since I wouldn’t mess around with them. I have kids and I couldn’t imagine risking my livelihood and freedom for them. Every now and then I’d see one of them out. I be so happy for they made it out and make them promise to never go back. I felt imprisoned just by working there so I couldn’t imagine how they feel.

This is the second interview I've watched recently. The other one was with a guy named "E-Solid." E spent years in solitary, 7 straight in fact. What's incredible is the guys that spend the majority of their time reading books. Some of the vocabulary and education levels of guys that have done 20+ years is impressive. Meanwhile the average free person doesn't even read a single book in a year. Interesting.
