How to swatch watercolor paints

You just got a brand new beautiful set of watercolor paints, but you have no idea how to even unwrap them! I'll walk you through it and show you that it's super simple. The biggest thing to remember is that your swatches should be a tool, so make them so that they're useful to you!

Great tips, i nees to do that! I wasnt consistent with that and so im disappointed with my paintings because it wasnt the color i wanted! Stepping up my game!

When putting the pans back into the tray, bend the metal side back in first and little past where you think you would. Then pop the pans back in. They are tight now and will not slide it rattle.

I usually peel off the color name and place it under the corresponding color! 😁 The colors are beautiful! Oh! And I love the design on the tins!

I’m silly; I can’t find where to buy them. I won’t be able to until my SS check arrives but I always try to treat myself to some something with with each check and I want it to be your paints. Hi Andrea! I have been rather timid over the last years to try watercolors again. I have played with them with grandkids, but I digress. Your enthusiasm & simple instrutions have lite a "try again". Question: it looks like that after you dip into a color, your brush paints the full intended color. How do you do that? My 1st attempts is a pale version. Congrats 🤗 on your paint set! 😊

You should spray your paint pan before using each time, and then give them 45 seconds or so to fully activate. You'll achieve their full vibrancy that way. Remember to let them dry out before putting them away.

Congratulations! Do the pans have color names or anything on them? I will say I'm confused about FaceBook. Do you or don't you have a group there? I see a lot of these reels there
