Welcome and Hello my artsy friends!
Thank you so much for being here. This is about the bloom swipe. Just the moves and tools not how I mix my recipe, but just in case it's written down below.
I come from traditional painting and even though I loved fluid art I always missed the 'painting' part. By learning the bloom technique and putting my own spin on it by swiping I found a way to paint.
Now after two years of experience I want to share my ideas and knowledge.
Please let me know any questions you might have. I'm still working on a simple way to communicate with you through videos and it might still seem a little....confused. But I'm learning and hope my next tutorial will be more structured.
Don't forget to practice! The more experience you gain the more control you'll have.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The spinner I'm using is my own design and creation. Every single workstep is done by my hands and my table saw (operated by me)
I sell these on my homepage and if you want to up your game and create on big canvases, you seriously should check it out!
DISCLAIMER: It's a tool for serious artists, I always recommend getting a small , cheaper spinner to try if spinning is your thing first. After you've tried other versions, I promise you'll appreciate this guy over all of them if you work with big heavy canvasses and you spin all the time, like me.
winterstrom-art.com/thespinner
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I use my version of the sheleeart recipe and here is the code for 15% off, if you'd like to learn from the originator of this recipe.
sheleeart15JWS
-----------------------------------
The wall paint I use in this is Glidden essentials 'white' in eggshell
The magic juice/Cell activator is mixed with australian floetrol. (1:1)
My Pouring medium:
Behr Dynasty deep base semi-gloss and minwax polycrylic (roughly 2:1) from Home depot
And thinning to the right consistency with JoSonja gloss varnish (Dick blick, jerys artsarama or Fluidart.co - please always check your local art store first - not the chains, if you can still find them...)
check out my instagram
/ winterstrom.art
and my homepage
www.winterstrom-art.com
I'm also on TikTok
Thank you with all my creative heart!
love and kisses

I have watched many many videos about fluid art before. I love Tara and Sera very much. Like them, Jessica is a very down to earth expert. She is the first to introduce the transfer swipe. She was the first one I saw putting the cell activator and paint on the pallet knife. Artist like Jody have given her credit the first time they used Jessica's technique. I love her sense of humor her, but humorous manner aside, she is a hard core artist who knows all there is to know to guide us all in this. I know you know this as well just put it her for those who are new to her work.

It has been a very interesting tutorial, I have learned something that I did wrong and that was to place the palette completely parallel to the painting, cells came out but I couldn't slide the paint so much. So glad I found you and followed you, Jessica. 😍

I love your talent and your art, your funny sense of humor all together makes you perfect. Jessica one of your friends/ followers uses winter storm as a part of her you tube video (yes she gives you credit) For me and people who are looking for you it is not fun. When I search for you she comes up. Please ask her to change it. You may not mind it but it is difficult for people who are looking for your videos.
