In the test box, the button on the right on your phone looks like the microphone button on my handset, instead I have a green arrow which only opens a ‘Send with effect’ menu.

Found my issue on my own after searching answers. My issue, under iMessages, it says, addresses. When I switched carriers, my emails and iPad2 We’re listed but my phone number wasn’t set or checked off. It was there, just not checked. Once it was, all iMessages issues were resolved.

Sometimes idk why we live in the same house but my msgs get sent as regular - green blue and idk why it won’t turn back to imsg when clearly the other person has a connection and i do too so, i always told them to msg me in imsg then it’ll turn blue again😅😂

The only thing you have to do is power it off then power it on if you just don’t from Transferring your stuff to a different phone i personally waited a couple of hours but you can try if before that and see if it worked but the things in the video did not work for me

This is for everyone who still is in green all you have to do is turn iMessage on and wait for a couple of minutes and after that it should be normal

Me and my girlfriend both have iphones , iMessage was turned on for both our devices but when I send her messages it’s still on green , same on her side when she sends me messages it’s also green for her. We both have internet connection.

If you want to make sure messages deliver as iMessage 1. Turn on airplane mode. 2. Turn on wifi. 3. Open contact and in text box if it shows "iMessage" that means other person has internet connection and iMessage can be sent. If it says "text message" do not send message because it will be sent as sms and you can't even undo it.

What finally worked for me was: airplane mode, wifi on, go to contacts, find the contact, BUT DONT SELECT THE UPPER MESSAGE BUTTON. Go down and select "Send Message", which will give you the option to send it to either phone number or apple account (email). Select the email, send a message, it will turn blue, and all messages after that will be blue.

Just turn off your cellular data or wifi if you want normal text message. Tap down the message to send it as normal text message

Go to the contact detail of the person you try to send the iMessage, add their e-mail address in the contacts(what they use for the iMessage) then press and hold on the message icon until a drop down menu appears and select the email address. The when the MMS window appears just close it. Next time you write a message to that person the iMessage will be back on.

if it doesn’t work, make a group with the person (you have to add up to 3 people at least) , and delete the original conversation. then go on the group and click their icon, it would say message, click on that and send them a message! or you could try to delete the conversation and go to the writing symbol and put in their number or contact name, try doing the number though. this should probably work! hope this helped :)
