Still, it's better this way, it's raw, authentic. Bikes made before 2008 had 180+ horsepower at the crank and no electronic aids, no abs and they were raw and authentic. You ride those and you know, you're the one riding, not the other way around. And by the way, threshold braking is better than ABS 100% of the time in every condition. ABS just lets off the pressure when it senses a lock, which means, the tire has to LOCK for it to work, so, even if it's for a fraction of a second, the wheel locks. The wheel never locks in threshold braking, it always maintains static friction and you never lose control of the bike. It takes skill, but isn't this what matters? Isn't your skill in controlling the beast its own reward? Doesn't it make you feel good as it is?
