This bunny is eating it like a champ. Both of my rabbits put up a drag-out, scratchy, grunting, pissed off, stompy, snorting, head-shaking fight. Even if I burrito them in a towel, they give me a hard time. This bunny is a poster child of obedience.

This was so helpful, my rabbits just got neutered and they got pain medicine and I didn't know how to give it to them even though the vet showed me how to, they kick a lot so I used a towel! :D thanks

This is really helpful, one of my new rabbits suddenly stopped eating since yesterday morning, and didn't even finish her plate and also stays in the same spot all day. I think she may be depressed, she is a rescue and we haven't been able to let her out much until now and she is in the process of bonding with my two bunnies. I kinda had to put the food up to her mouth and she'd eat it, but I don't think she's been drinking water or eating hay. This morning I offered her treats and she went after it, which made me hopeful. If her appetite is still very small I may get some of that and a syringe and force feed her, but I am nervous cause she is an aggressive/defensive rabbit because she came from a home where she used to be hit and neglected

I'm currently trying to do that for my rabbit who is refusing to eat and hoping it's not stasis but he refuses to take it no matter what I do. He doesn't kick or anything, he just moves his head away from it.

My bun was refusing to eat anything and is the most ferocious beast so this burrito saved me from many nips and kicks

Wow, thank you! I'm going to try the bunny burrito tonight for my bunny's night dose. He's impossible to give medicine to, even from the side of the mouth. I think the positioning will help, too. Best video I've seen on medicine giving!

@psychobunny32 I could be wrong, but I think teeth trimming is a vet only thing. It's awful that you don't have any local vets that'll treat rabbits! Luckily, for the teeth, if your rabbit has lots to gnaw on (toys, hay, etc) and does so often, then its teeth should wear down naturally. My bunny is 7 and he just went to the vet a few days ago for a cold, but the the vet did his nails and checked his teeth. His teeth were fine and have never needed to be cut.

i'd like to see how to inject an animal. we wanted to give a rabbit ivermectin injection but i could use tips on how to do it.

I just lay down and place my rabbit on my chest, then I stuff my finger in his mouth and sneak the syringe in his mouth and squeeze water. My rabbit refuses to drink and refuses the *SYRINGE* so no point of being cooperative with him.
