The take down of your twists is MAJOR KEYS for a bomb twist out. One wrong move or wet twist and BOOM...FRIZZ smh
So I wanted to share with yall how I unravel, separate, stretch , fluff and pick your hair to achieve a defined and voluminous twist out :-) If you have any additional tips or tricks, please feel free to share them in the comments!! There's always room for growth!

This video was soo helpful!! Thank you so much. I tend to struggle with the “twist out maintenance”. I always retwist them at night and add oil/moisture cream when necessary BUT around day 5 my hair just looks stringy. You should add a video tutorial for twist out maintenance 👀👀

This is a GREAT video.. clear, thorough and you make me feel like I can do a take-down and not mess it up.. thanks for the confidence boost sis... other vloggers speed up this important part of the video or do it off camera 🙄like how we supposed to learn if you're rushing through it? I'm a few months into transitioing, from keratin and heat damage, so I need someone to be thorough and explain things in detail because I know nothing!! When ever I use a pick, I can feel pulling & breakage at the root no matter how gentle. I don't like it & just use my fingers at the the roots & pull up, etc....at this point it is what it is...growing my hair & want every strand.

I think my problem is that I make my twists too small, or I just keep them in too long bc yours look way better than mine

Hmmm I don’t think so. Because I’ve done mini twists, left them in for 2 weeks and had a nice twist out. It could either be the products you’re using don’t have a good hold or your twists are too loose 🤔 How do yours look?

I believe about an hour close to 2 hrs. I sat under the hooded dryer so it could dry quicker
