The threads in rhe support cup you spoke about are metric. 16mm i believe. I wasn't able to get my 648's frame out. Without taking all the drums out first. My frame needed the belt wear groove welded on the right hand side. A very common problem

Use your air chisel and go up and under until that bearing pops
