I made this video because I had to wait for my mom for four hours and I learned a lot of things about international passengers arriving at the SJD San José del Cabo International Airport. First of all, when you come, do not talk to anyone that has an “official nametag” or a “badge” or anything. I just kept watching as they funneled people to the worst ATM machines that you could choose. Why? You might ask… Well, they take you to the USD machine because it guarantees them a $20 tip. These USD machines have absolutely the worst exchange rate possible. Think of it this way, if you saw an ATM fee over 3 bucks you’d rethink it eh? Well, you’re about to settle for a $10-15 fee.
Next, I saw a bunch of single people, family people, all the people wondering why the heck all the cabs were $85 usd. On top of that, they will tell you it is a two and a half hour ride. IT IS NOT. It only takes one hour. If you take a cab (which I have) you will only save yourself about twenty minutes. Ask yourself “is twenty minutes worth $80 dollars USD?
