Yes, I wondered too! I use Embryolisse as a final stage, going to try jojoba oil on top tonight :)

i think its to lock in the moisture but also create slip for the massage

I could be mistaken, but I think it's actually best to use oil as a final stage rather than placing it underneath a cream because creams tend to contain some water-based ingredients with smaller molecules that can sink into your skin and oils tend to contain bigger molecules that don't sink in but instead sit on top of the skin and create a temporary protective film to stop moisture leaving the skin - so oils work well to "lock in" creams but can also "lock" them out if they're layered underneath creams. Does that make any sense?!

Elizabethx15 Depending on where you are from, it can be different. Where I am from you take a couple week course and get a state license for it.

I know someone who studied in Switzerland for two years and others that took a one month online course...as in some other areas it really depends on the person who wants to study, how much they want to be, to learn and how much they can invest in their education.

RitaTocta I understand it can vary but it's a little blurry, can a skincare esthetician also administer injections? And also do electric skincare like Melanie Simon?
