I was a little concerned about the mixed reviews, but I used it last year and hooked it up again this year and it was great kzfaq.infoUgkx-izdrK3eF-HMvjzeBOxToD6Fx-4ulJUh . I couldn't get my 10' Intex pool above 76 degrees the year prior and last year I got it to 90 and had to put ice in it. This worked so well! I have just 1 mat hooked up to a 1,000 GPH Intex pump and it makes a significant reduction in the flow rate coming back into the pool, but that is to be expected with how far the water has to travel through the mat.

My 22'x12' pool took nearly 2 days to fill w/ a garden hose. I might use a wider vacuum hose sei fen to drain it faster.

so my pump failed and i wasnt able to vacuum the algae before emptying the pool. how do i clean out the dried out algae ? broom ? and the scrub with simple green & then clean & dry with a towel?

If it's mild, I'd be tempted to leave it up. But still disconnect you pump, filter, and tubing.

When taking mine down, the pool vinyl is sticking to the long top rail pipes, making it extremely difficult to take the pipes out. Should I use a hair dryer to heat up the pool vinyl sleeves so they release their grip on the railing pipes? I see where you said that is the most difficult thing with taking down the pool, and my experience confirms that!

I don’t know if hearing it up will help. I found it best to just twist the vinyl on the tubes in little bits. Start at the end where you can get under the vinyl a bit to get it loose. Then keep twisting, moving down the pipe

@@dalesbackyardofficial Thanks. Just finished taking it down. We left it up all winter and are not going to use it this summer. The blow dryer helped alot to loosen the pool fabric. I was able to grab enough material and unstick the fabric, while pulling and tugging the fabric and twisting the pipe at the same time. Quite a workout.

Ok. Sorry, don’t post much; but, I happen to have some well deserved experience with taking these things down. Go to a big box store or hardware store and buy a 3/8” dowel. Measure the distance of the liner on the frame and add like 12”. Probably around 30”-36” long. Slide that dowel through there and work that vinyl off the frame all the way around after you drain it and before even trying to disassemble it. Works like a charm.

I leave the sand. Just open the drain valve and let it drip out for a long time

Syphon with a hose works well and pull bottom up from 1 side to gather water on one side. Also, square bucket or container and bail it out. Bail sounds daunting, but it’s very affective

Thanks for your video. Personally, I am very disappointed in this pool and trying to get it all folded back up to return it to Costco. My Summer Waves pool pump with the paper filter worked better than this sand pump.

Way way way too much work! Taking that thing down And a part for eight months, and then reassembling and filling the whole thing up with water for what June July and August and maybe the first two months of September, here in Michigan no heck no not worth it! I’d rather have a metal sided pool that you just winterize and you leave it up and you’re not wasting water by emptying and refilling! Way too much work for me😊
