How to tap in guitar hero

Күн бұрынEdit: My friend and I had sort of made this as a joke, but also to legitimately help people improve lol. It's been almost 8 years to the day this was uploaded; never expected to see over 5,000 views on this! I do hope it actually helped some people :)
my first tutorial. just shows some basics on how to tap. really helps if you wanna improve your scores or go for FC's on songs. everything i show you i came up with myself.
also, take note that due to the 10 minute time constrant (i'm pushing it now, as its 9 minutes, 59 seconds, 74 milliseconds i believe o.O), some scenes were cut out.

The thing with tapping for me is hitting all of the notes. I feel vulnerable to it because If you screw up you miss a ton of notes.

You have to understand I made this video over 4 years ago lol. My skill level has far surpassed this, but honestly I think it is a very good beginner tutorial on getting the mechanics down.

Does tapping in guitar hero 2 work?

Yes, but the engine is quite a bit more strict, and you cant ghost note, meaning, just as an example, a sequence of notes that go green yellow blue, you cant hit it green red yellow blue, because once you fret that red between the two actual notes of green and yellow itll break your combo on the yellow if you dont strum it. Hope that makes sense

so on through the fire and flames if you hold down green it will automaticaly press?

No. If you simply hold down green, that's not enough. You need some sort of method to pass the section.

I misread the question. Yeah, if you hold down green it stays held down throughout the entire section so long as you keep holding it down
