This was a super quick video on how I do the tape back method. It's a great technique to know and it can help in a lot of different situations especially when your starting out and learning how to isolate properly. This allows you to space out the lashes and get a clear view without having the isolate from the extension. I think it could really help speed up a set when your having speed problems!
I hope this was helpful I will be doing a more detailed version of this later on just wanted to have a quick demo!

Hiii I find it easier to do tape forward because I feel like I can’t see the lashes all the way on the top after I do the tape back method, do you have a video on the taping forward ?

I tried this and I thought I detached the tape enough, but I didn't!!! 😭😭😭 I am so scared of trying it again, but I will because it looks like it would help so much

What tape are you using? Because i accidentally pulled off some lashes doing this method.

It’s the 3M tape! Did you de tack it before you applied it? You have to do that a few times so it pulls off easier.

Every time I try this method I can never see the base of the natural lash cause the lashes that are taped back are in the way, how do you deal with that?

Hey love! Okie let me understand better. Do you mean the extensions taped back are blocking the base of the lash or that the natural lashes are getting stuck in the ones taped back?

@@ErikaDeeAnne okie so, being totally honest. That’s exactly why I don’t like this method that much because when that happens I still end up going back through the whole set and looking for lashes that aren’t lashed!

What kind of glue you use, and what’s helps so you’ll have good retention?

I use the Flowrish Infinite bond! Great retention is a formula of a few things. Glue, technique, prep and room temperature! 🥰

Did you wash her lashes before you started filling?

Reyna Grace No I actually didn’t. I only do a was when it’s needed! I’ve been going her for forever and her lashes are super clean! Her fans may look dirty because they’re closed but that’s because she loves a spiked look lol!

Can you only do this method if the client already has some extensions on ? Or can you do it when you start a fresh set?

Noo you can definitely do it on a new set! You would just be taping back the natural lashes to get that bottom layer!

Just curious , is it safe to use tape back method even after putting primer on natural lashes? X

Yes it is safe, just make sure that the primer is not soaked on your clients lashes.

I noticed that it lifted up the eyelid and had her eye open slightly can that cause chemical burn on a new set?

Great observation! And yes I definitely could! The adhesive I’m using doesn’t irritate the eyes so she was fine but that is something you have to keep in mind. So either ensure the eyes are completely shut or be sure you’re adhesive isn’t going to hard them. You’ll know right away because they’ll start to water!

Definitely not! I personally don’t do this very often. It’s really just an option!

Yea! That’s the idea, the ones that pop out are the ones that need to be filled so your not searching for them.

because your bases maybe to thick that’s why but other then that you shouldn’t have no issues
