Im so grateful for your instructions to tape and support my “trigger finger”. The stuck joint is exquisitely painful and I cant see the doc for three more weeks. The doc offer no suggestions but to live with it until I can see him. I dont look forward to surgery so taping is definitely a means to possibly reduce symptoms or, maybe even bring about healing without more steroid shots. This tape suppport has brought some definite relief from pain. At least I can brush my teeth and hair now without the finger snapping down. I have been struggling with this for a year and a half on multiple fingers in both hands and my gp just told me to take meloxicam. Smh. I craft and do lots of things with my hands every day and I can't just not do anything for 8 weeks. I did try kt tape in the past on my own and it helped but I wasn't adding all of what you did. Going to try this today.

I would like to say a huge thankyou for this video because it helped a lot my little finger was my trigger finger it started throbbing for the first hour but then the pain eased with a panadol I’m glad it helped and didn’t keep me from being able to go to work ♥️

Helpful hint... clean area with isopropyl alcohol before applying tape. An oil free surface will help the adhesive last longer.

Are any of the kinesio- tapes hypoallergenic? I get a strong reaction to some of them. It seems like it’s from the adhesive, because I haven’t had any latex allergy reactions to anything else, but then I’m not In close contact with a lot of latex products for nearly as long as the tape is left on.
