I live in Ohio and I’m kinda glad that things are opening back up. Selfishly I’m glad bc my mom got her job back yesterday after two months of not having an income. I hope everyone stays safe.

In Slovenia tomorrow is the day that hairdressers, coffe shops, restaurants, nail salons and other shops open. We still have to wear masks in public and stay 2 meters apart. Hope it will soon go back to normal 😍

Here in the Boston area our stay at home advisory has been extended until May 18. I am pretty sure it will be extended further. I realize this shutdown is in the interest of public health, but I feel so bad for business owners who have invested their life savings . I think everyone is suffering from quarantine fatigue . You guys seem to be doing a great job making the best of the situation.

Yea it is very different, OFN only started online school like a week or 2 ago and I started online school March 31. I am in college so that may be the reason but my baby cousins who are in elementary school they started online classes in the beginning of April. Also in NY wearing a mask has been mandatory for about 2 weeks, if not longer.

In Texas the malls already opened but they’re empty no one is going. Also , restaurants have the option to dine in but not every restaurant is opening only doing pickup so it’s a really weird new sense of normality

Our schools have been closed for 7 weeks and will remain closed through the remainder of the academic year. We have been under a stay at home *order* for weeks and have been wearing masks in public for a few weeks. Tom Wolf, I think, has so far done a great job. Pennsylvania is starting phases to reopen the economy. My county will enter the yellow phase on May 8th as long as our numbers continue to decline. Restaurants still cannot dine in and recreation centers must remain closed. Retail may reopen (to my understanding) but are highly encouraged to do curbside pick up and must operate under strict guidelines. I also believe all personal care businesses must remain closed. Basically, it’s one step short of a stay at home order, but is still called “aggressive mitigation measures.” We’re supposed to still stay home if we can, and gatherings over 25 are prohibited. I think we still have to wear masks in public. Idk if it’s just me, but I find the orders easy to understand just by paying *some* attention to them. I don’t really get all these people saying “it’s so confusing.”

Iowa is starting to open up again! All businesses and restaurants can be open but have to follow some guidelines and restaurants are at half capacity. We can have gatherings of 50 or less! In a couple weeks hairdressers and those types of things will be back open. I can’t wait because my hair is getting so long!

Some things, it's not as much of a big deal who has previously touched it. It goes from the places that make such things as bags, to delivery to the stores, then unpacking and placing where they're stored for use and stored for future use. These places all have the required safety precautions. Then there's the items on shelves (etc) that people may be handling, whether they take it or not. This is where it helps to either have gloves on or use hand sanitizer or cleaning wipes. Some areas are already getting better while some are not quite there yet and some might not even be close to being there yet. Just here in the US, some areas are not as bad as other areas. I'm in northwestern PA (Erie County, bordering Lake Erie). Other than places that have remained open, retail places can start reopening for public shopping this Friday (May 8). However, they're not opening the Millcreek Mall because it's a mall so it's known for a lot of foot traffic. With the 25 people max limit, it likely wouldn't work. So the mall is being said to be closed for a while yet. The county (gov) also doesn't want out-of-town people occupying the area for safety reasons. An example of this, is... especially during Christmas shopping time as Christmas is approaching, the mall gets shoppers from Canada because PA doesn't charge tax on clothes. (This is at least one reason.) People are not supposed to be crossing county lines. Masks are also 'suggested.' It seems some places are not requiring them, which is ridiculous. There is no specifics on when social distancing will cease.

I'm glad you figured it out.😊😊😊I was going to tell u about the app. And when the guests pull up a loud horn goes off on our devices. Lol. We are required to wear masks now. And at the Target I work at nothing is sectioned off. Thank goodness. I agree. What is essential for me,may not be for you. And people are trying on clothes anywhere and everywhere! Lol.and Arizona has been a little more loosy goosy with restrictions. Our governor has cracked down a bit more lately.

In Maryland they made masks required a couple weeks ago maybe. But they say you can use bandanas and things like that as well. But our governor said once we have a declining amount of cases for 14 days straight is when they can talk about opening things back up

In Ireland, we are slowly getting better but it'll probably be August or September till everything is better. And no school until September-October (we are not starting the year again so I will be going from primary school (6th class) to secondary school (1st year)

in texas, things are opening back up again and restaurants are open to dine in but not all of them. specifically where i live i feel like things are starting to get better, i’ve been out a few times and everyone seems to be responding well to social distance. i also only have 8 more days of online work and the school year will be officially over. we are going by a pass or fail system. not a number or letter grade.

They opened up shops and businesses back up yesterday on May 3, and they might start opening theme parks, and all the big things in the week of or after May 18, just depends if the virus cases go up, but hopefully not and that we stay pretty low

I think its funny that people are complaining about having to wear masks in public. I'm originally from Toledo but I live in Hawaii because I'm in the navy and on my ship we had to wear masks for weeks before they even made it mandatory for everywhere else. And they all had to be quarantined on the ship while in port for 2 weeks in order to go underway. If people don't want to wear masks then they can stay home until all this is over. People need to be grateful they get to be with their families during quarantine, because some people like me, don't and can't until all this is over. If people don't want to follow the rules stay home.

I’m in a suburb of Philadelphia Pennsylvania. We got hammered they are breaking the state by zones in color. We have to wear masks anywhere we go. We are in a red zone and 5th in the USA for cases. Philadelphia is a huge problem, people are still hanging out in crowds. It was so bad they removed every basketball hoops throughout Philly. I bet it felt good just to get out even though you were in a vehicle.

I think PA is doing a really good job. People in my area seem to be doing well with it all but recently people have been getting really antsy which is making me nervous. They are frustrated but I love outside of Philadelphia which was really hit and the county next to mine is where PA’s cases started so I’m not suprised that we will be last to reopen. But up by Lake Erie they are opening things back up. It’s frustrating tomorrow would be my last day of my junior year of college but I’d rather be doing this then getting everyone sick. I’m lucky that I can still work which I think has helped my mental health a lot but I think people need to remember why we are doing this before they go crazy

The pedi masks are really hit or miss, some of them work really well but others only peel a small amount of skin so ur not really left with that soft of skin

im in indiana and our governer is reopening our state up in phases. the covid cases are not getting better here but only rising. its mandatory we have to wear masks when going into places and we have to keep social distancing even though we can be in groups now of so many. but some of our counties here are on extended stay at home orders and if we break the rules we can get a class b misdameanor. we have not even hit a surge yet. i feel like reopening too soon will possibly cause us to just have to go back to square one with another shut down. stay safe!

In UK we are on lockdown since March 23rd. People are allowed out to exercise once a day and only shop for essentials. People have to work at home or some have been furloughed. But I’ve been at work as I’m classed as essential

It’s not confusing that states have different regulations; it’s abiding by the constitution. It is absolutely illegal for the federal government to declare that kind of rule over the states, per the 10th Amendment. Governors have to do what they feel is best for their states. I do understand thinking “well, how can it be that different 3 miles across the boarder?” but we have to draw lines somewhere.

Its Target "Drive Up", it's kind of confusing but on the app you HAVE to pick "Drive Up" not "Pick up" & the last time I did it, it automatically did "Pick UP" so I HAD to go in the store...I was mad but now I know to double check that it's "Drive Up". I knew I made the mistake too when I opened my app & it said "show barcode for order" & not "Let us know you're on your way" because then it uses your location settings & when you get to the store the employees get notified (if you ever here the "beep beep" when shopping in the store before that means a Drive Up has arrived) & they literally head out of the store AS SOON AS you park, it's crazy fast! You also put in your car model & color before the location sets in so they know what vehicle you're in! However I've done it a few times & even when this pandemic calms down, even though that's probably going to be over a year away, I might still take advantage of it because I'm definitely not buying random things I didn't need like when I usually go to Target lol!

I’m in Massachusetts and completely agree! States around us in New England are reopening but our governor just said we have to wear masks all the time and closed some state parks. It’s very confusing!! I’m also concerned because they keep saying cases might spike in the fall again.
