Thank you so much! I went to teacher's college in 1987, and qualified to teach grades 4-9. I taught ESL for a few years and then I had kids and raised them. I went back to teaching grade 7/8 two years ago, but this year I got put into a grade 3/4 class, and I have no training to do this. I took Elementary Education this summer, but it was 100% theory (all about building trust and critical inquiry, but nothing, zero, zilch when it comes to strategies). School starts in one week and I can't find anyone to give me any practical how-tos. I am more grateful than you can imagine! If this is the case for other teachers, you could start a school of your own!

Keep it up! You’re putting fabulous effort into this. Have you heard of Whole Brain Teaching? It’s a gigantic series of ways to increase student engagement/teach new content/classroom manage. They way you structured your writing (color coded) is very similar to their process. It’s great for the kids to organize their thoughts and evidence. Great job. And I’m so sorry - it’s spelled “dimensional”. 😬 Keep it up! I hope your school begs for you to return next year.
