You have helped me so much. Omg im in tears you were sent to me by god. When my daughter was diagnosed with Autism I was so lost. My daughter lost her speech and i was completely heart broken. I came across your KZfaq page and saw a video of teaching your children how to sound out the letters when saying the ABC's. Judy, you’ve helped me so much! You’ve helped me teach my once nonverbal autistic son to read before he was classified as “verbal.” ( Great news, he is verbal and doing exceptionally well.) I know you have videos about teaching your other children, but I have found your videos this year very helpful in particular because it seems to show your whole step-by-step process. My son is excelling SO much in his reading. We have followed your process to the letter and he ABSOLUTELY loves reading. He is confident, fluent and secure in his comprehension. I feel like your method leaves NO gaps. I have Elemental Phonics 1, 2 and 3. He's almost through level 2. He loves seeing his sticker chart fill up. He is well on his way to being a strong reader. Hello Jady! My child will be in 2nd grade next year. Her school uses Abeca program. I’m not sure which sight word book to purchase to go over with her during our personal time. I was thinking about getting the second grade book but not sure if I should buy the 3rd grade book instead. Thx for any help/ guidance.
