Some parrots don't like touching ..my white ringneck is fully tamed but don't like to be touched 😒....

@@AmirA-qo3jv All of a sudden, a playful Quaker may sometimes start biting his owner without any apparent reason. Sometimes, the owners don’t realize that their Quakers are all grown up now. It is the hormones that are making them restless and aggressive. A breeding bird feels sudden rushes of aggression while going through that phase. And if bothered, he responds aggressively even if that person happens to be his favorite human being. I hope my answer will help you 💐

@@AmirA-qo3jv it is more difficult to prevent hormonal biting, it is recommended to avoid getting too close to your bird lest it take a bite at you. Never allow a hormonal parrot near your face😊 Entertain Your Bird When you give your parrot toys and activities that will distract it from its urges, you’ll find that the behavior will likely subside. When your bird becomes hormonal, you’ll want to avoid giving it starchy foods and even high calorie/high fat foods. cooked foods may induce hormonal surges. When it comes to your hormonal parrot’s diet, reduce starchy high protein foods such as breads, corn, potatoes, beans, nuts, cheeses or meats.👍 As a rule, your bird requires at least 10 to 12 hours of complete darkness every night to keep hormones in balance. You’ll want to make sure the room your bird is in can be completely dark and that your bird can’t be disturbed, and if you cannot darken the room sufficiently, you will want to put a dark blanket or cover on the cage.👍

Hi 👋 Ideally, give your bird up to three days to settle in before you start playing with them. Of course, this will depend somewhat on your bird! But It sounds like he is sick or ill if your quaker parrot sleeping the whole day and night .it is a serious warning sign that something is wrong. If the feathers are fluffed up as well, a visit to the vet is needed.

@@BirdsTV4U it is eating seeds properlt, fruits i am giving kiw7i, malta, grapes, apple, green veggie, I got it just yesterday indian std time early morning and it also was sent by the pet shop in a small transport cage by taxi with 13 hours journey..so maybe it is tired due to that or what sud i do..

Hi ,Don't worry he will start chirping soon because it has been only 2 days in a new environment. Show him/her some quaker parrot videos 😃.. Quakers parrots are very Confident and Social birds by nature.These birds are delightfully entertaining; they're like little clowns. They have the personality of large birds in a little bird's body. Bold and outgoing, they tend to chatter a lot and are known for their exceptional talking ability.

@@BirdsTV4U lol, oops, ten years I've always taught mine to talk when young. I just got this quaker a month ago and she doesn't say much, although she's sweet. I doubt she'll learn to talk now. My amazon who I adopted ten years ago doesn't say much either, however my amazon I've had since she was a baby can sing and talk like crazy and is always learning.
