How to test Accumax Hydraulic solenoids

In this video i'm showing you guys how to test solenoids, i really do recommend Accumax solenoids for you lowriders, hoppers.

thanks alot for posting up videos i run a custom shop and trying to help lowrider come back harder then ever but we really cant do that with no lowrider shops around here ..so learning something every day thanks alot

Can i test them with out taking them off( Hookd up as is), or have to takem of and do 1 by 1? Thank you.

Should every one light up on light test? From it being on ground and touching each of the four screws thanks

Thank you for explaining how to test solenoids. With hydraulic solenoids, after the engagement click, should atmospheric air pass (blast) through the ports if no hydraulic lines are connected? My new solenoid just clicks and gets really warm for minutes without pushing air through the ports.

If your talking about the solenoids with the 1 post on top instead of 2 posts then yes.

I have a problem with my solenoids i am runnin 36 volts for the front when i hit the switch UP the cables and solenoids are HOT and burning 2 solenoids , i install 2 accumax and keep one duralast and now when i hit the switch UP it stuck

MXL686 Are they properly grounded? Are they tightened to the bracket and are the cables tightened? Sometimes when they are slightly lose they will heat up.

u still need voltage meter light not enough under 12 volt will power the light

Mines click but does not pick up If I pick up the bin manually and it gets stuck up you press the button and it goes down but when you press the button to go up it just clicks Could it be a bad solenoid

Could be a bad solenoid, bad connection or corroded wire

zane lile At 3:10 i tell that my ground is connectes by the blue wire.

LowLows & More! Oh l had to keep seeing the video, but yes you did say it. One question my set up has battery going to one side of cylinoid and the pump going to the other side of cylinoid. So please tell what part do l hit with the tester ? 🤔

pancho villa Put the test light on the side of the solenoid where the cable goes to the pump.

LowLows & More! Sorry but one more question, my set up is small and everything is going to be still connected. Is it ok if everything is still connected while testing? 🤔
