HOW TO: Tie A Head Wrap/ Turban Into 3 Different Styles

Here is a quick and easy video, to share 3 different styles you can achieve with a head wrap.
You can always use a simple scarf but I chose to use one of my favourite pieces of fabric.
Apologies for the squeaky chair, it wanted its moment on KZfaq.

Thanks for this! I'm about to lose my hair through chemotherapy and the scarves I was taught to tie are a bit too conservative for me. This is MUCH more my style. THANK YOU for your video, I'm going to be wearing number 1 and 2 a lot over the next few months!

Wow... praying you're ok. I found my lump in my breast myself, so i was diagnosed in October. I had a mastectomy so i'll be starting Chemo pretty soon. Any tips (foods, things that helped you, etc.)?

Girl you are the cutest! It's so funny I always wrapped my hair with fabric like this since I was young due to working in kitchens where I have to have my hair covered (and also being too lazy to do my hair!). The one rather important part I never did was to fold the triangle first! I just tried this out and I can happily confirm my turbans are no longer going to slip about on my head all the time- it's amazing what a difference knowing how to do something properly makes! Thanks for this :D I especially love the third style: Having had "baldy" shouted at me a couple times while I was out and about with my whole head covered it's good to have a style in my repertoire that also shows some hair... should I feel like styling it that day!

That first look is beautiful. We have head wraps in our community, too, but if one has a flat head like mine, heads wraps are a losing battle. :(

Oh my! You remind me of my self! :D Thank you for this! A Turban is mostly related to Sikhs and Hindu's and they have their own name in Punjabi and Gujarati. But at the same time various places (in English) in Africa use the term Turban for non-religious accessories too. Sometimes head wrap can be a hypernymn for turban, valetti, hijab etc.
