thanks for the guide. I got a bead online and I didnt think I could get both strings through the hole but with some work and a toothpick I got it. another tip is to trim the inside part of one down past the cover and push that one inside second.

Thank you for this video! I'm terrible at tying knots, it's like I'm dyslexic with knots. Tried this with 7mm leather strips and it was much more difficult than paracord, I only managed 2 good looking knots. 😔

nice knife, is it a Damascus Knife? I always watched your Motor bike Vlogs coz I myself rides here in Riyadh and back home at Phil. and paracord is one of the accessories for my EDC. Thanks for teaching how to tie it .Good JOB.
@Janggo19115 жыл бұрын
Yes, it is a Damascus steel. Mainit ba mag ride dyan? I was stationed at Dubai for a few months and I can never see myself riding there, maybe in the evening, pero daytime, too hot. Thanks for the kind words @Armand Tablan.
Could you do this with a cobra weave? I have a wide handle just pike this knife and I prefer the cobra weave is it possible?
@Janggo19113 жыл бұрын
I would think so, but haven't tried it.

What kind of knife do you have when you are tying off the lanyard? I have a knife collection and would be very interested in finding out the knife you have so I might purchase it somewhere. Thanks for any information you can provide.
@Janggo19114 жыл бұрын
That is a tracker knife. You can buy a branded one from Tops knife or just get a generic one you find online such as the one I have @Susan Kim.

I was wondering the same thing. I could be wrong but this knife reminds me of the one that Benicio del Toro used in the movie The Hunted. I'm not 100% sure this is same style knife that Benicio does use as its been awhile since watching movie but always wanted a blade like this for scout carry for when out camping for some reason even though my Esee 6 and Esee 4 will always be my main go to camp use knifes.

Great vid mate tying paracord can be difficult depending on the type of weave hope all is well

I really need to know how to take a fixed pocket knife fob/lanyard, and resize it because the loop that attaches to the knife is way too long, how can I make it much smaller to my knife? Will I have to cut it and retie a knot? Please I really need someone's help here I've searched KZfaq ty.

You can’t tie that to your wrist though? Isn’t the idea to wrap it around your wrist? That’s just a string on the end of your handle??? Looks cool though and nice knives, just not exactly what I was looking for, but good video 👍🏻😁
@Janggo19115 жыл бұрын
There are times a good wrap around the wrist cord is useful, there are also times it is not. A tactical fighting knife is one of them, you can't transfer your grip or swap hands on the fly if the cord is wrapped around your wrist.

How is this a lanyard it has no purpose, a lanyard is to connect to something ie: around wrist or to carabiner
@Janggo19113 жыл бұрын
As an additional handle purchase. As a statement piece. Etc. Find a purpose. It's your choice if you want to try it or not. And no, as per experience, you never want a knife lanyard around your wrist. You would want to let go of the knife in case it gets snagged and not drag you with it.
@WB-143 жыл бұрын
It's in the name, lanyard! A lanyard is a cord or strap worn around the neck, shoulder, or wrist to carry such items as keys or identification cards. In the military, lanyards were used to fire an artillery piece or arm the fuze mechanism on an air-dropped bomb by pulling out a cotter pin when it leaves the aircraft. They are also used to attach a pistol to a body so that it can be dropped without being lost.
