Our sweater didn't change a bit, but in your case not sure what it happened. How long the clothes soak in the pigment. How long did you soak it for? And did you use the tie dye kit we suggested?

Hi, I applied batik (tie dye) to a sweatshirt made entirely of cotton, but if you want it to stay in a small area, it dirty all the white areas. How do you wash, so that the white areas are not dyed? Thanks

If you want to get less faded effect you might want to dye without damping the fabric you want to work with. If you want to fix it use bleach diluted with water and a brush. It's easier to control the bleach and spread evenly to the surface you want to fix. Hope it helps!

If you want the Colors to blend yes. If you want the colours to be more sharp then no. Check the link in the description to get extra tips on the tie dye world! ;-)

I dont understand how you are able to do that many bands. My sweater just bunches up and its impossible to do this.

I think it all depends on how you fold it and wrap it. Keep the rubber bands tight but not too tight

I usually add fabric softener to the washing machine and that would do the job. Which softener are you using?

My kit says to soak for 8 hours. But you did for 1 to 2 hours. Is that because you wanted light colours? Because we want that too.

Yes! I wanted lighter color rather than vibrant and deep shade so I let it soak for less hours :-)

When I dye dry clothes the dye just runs off, what do you recommend I do? I've wet them before but I like how crisp and sharp it looks when it's dyed dry...

Hi dear! You can let it soak in the dye for a longer time or wash with cold water! Hot water will remove the color

depending on the color you want to get. If you want the colors to blend together and be on the softer tone you might want to damp the fabric, if not dye dry.
