The first one with the elastic clear string does work if you was using a thicker clear elastic strand or else you should of double the elastic by overlapping them then thread the beads on to the clear string and then you would have to tie it in a knot more than one time...I tie mines in a knot at least 3 times and it works and my handmade jewelry still looks Brand New from when I first made them...all my bracelets last (because I take really good care of them)...😊

Well You can tie a knot tighter so it doesn't open by making the normal knot, then make a medical knot by the same method of normal knot but putting the string in the loop 2 times and then finish it off by one more normal knot... Hope it helps!😊

No. How to actually tie elastic: First, do a normal X knot. Then, put the two ends together. Loop them both together around your finger and then take your finger out. You now have a loop and your gonna put both ends through, followed by pulling away from the knot in all directions. That’s it!
