this reminds me of middle school when we didn't really use the internet for this kinda stuff so at lunch we would share our different shoe ties that we figured out at home. there was always that one kid who came in with a dif design every day... meaning he took off the laces... and re did them EVERY DAY😭

Used to make up different ways with my friends in highschool all the time. We did stars, checkers, and whatever else we thought was cool. But none of them were efficient. Now I'll be the coolest 30 year old ever.

Thank you for this the only issue is the shoelace style I clicked on this video for wasn't even in the video...I picked a different style but it would have been impractical to get my foot in and out of the shoe, especially if I'm exhausted at the end of the day. I would literally have to redo the entire shoelaces each time before and after I put the shoe on and that would take forever. They look cool but be careful which design you choose. I did 22 but it is very impractical with your foot in it already, and you can't slide your foot in and out unless you make it very loose to start. I need them to skateboard with, though and I'd rather not break my ankle because they are loose. Also, some designs look better with wide shoelaces or ribbons than traditional laces. I tried 16 with regular laces and it looked depressingly flat and boring without bigger laces or ribbons.

#15 is best method if you want a slip on shoe , the rest are just for showing off.

It seems to me that least two of these patterns provides a better load distribution on the laces and therefore more secure and longer life.

Some of them do secure while others are more aesthetically pleasing. Depends on what you want and how the shoe fits without the laces...

Nah the one you know is by far the most practical one, the easiest one to tie, the hardest to mess up, that's why most people stick with the original way instead of messing around to get a pattern that no-one will look at anyway

My left shoe is number 3 and my right one 9. In my opinion 3 is good for martial arts or in general to prevent your leg from bending to the outside and with number 9 some kicks hurt less (my english is game-based)^^
