How to tig weld a LOGO! Can I weld my logo in a METAL ART CHALLENGE?!

3 жыл бұрынI had a viewer send me some Metal Art, where he Tig Welded MY LOGO!!! INSANE! So it gave me an idea to do a little metal art piece myself, and try Tig Welding my logo as well! But of course, if you know me, I gotta do it different, and got to put some kind of bizarre spin on it.... Why can't I just weld something normally....? Because I don't want to. That's why. Gotta be original and spice it up!

Great job. 'm beginning to suspect that you dipped that tungsten on purpose, so all of us that do it constantly wouldn't feel so bad ;)

When I started I was lucky to weld 2 inches before getting the tungsten totally coated. It’s gotten up to about once every 20 minutes but I still have my days🙃

Makes me wish I would of done aluminum haha cant discolor ally with gloss coat. I did a little bit of welding in high school, but I didn’t have an excellent experience but watching your videos gives me more experience than what I got, if that makes sense😂

👍 dude. I love it! COMPLETELY different apin on the logo and it looks dope! I feel you on the paint man, been falling in live with it again myself. Gonna start incorporating oil paints and acrylic into alot of my art, both metal and canvas. I'm sure you'll see as soon as I get some more time in the shop this spring. "Hey" Dusty....Yes I'm from Quebec canada....lol Love your work!. I do wood & Metal artwork as well as a hobby but you gave me the idea of trying out Tig welding on some of my work...lol Question? How much Argon do you go through on a typical project? and what kind of ventilation do you use in your shop ? KEEP UP the great work Love your channel.

love your work mate. seriously neat. have you ever had a piece thoroughly contaminated that you just cant weld? i'm having that issue now. as soon as i light up on it, it glows green and brown, i basically cant get it to puddle. i've cut the joint totally out again and again (carbide blade on a grinder so i don't introduce more nasties) to start fresh but get the same every time. grab a piece of scrap and everything is fine so i know my setup is good. sadly i am having this on a large piece that i can not start again on. cheers
