Yes, the issue is being fixed. Trust me, anyone who has assembled an AR is familiar with this process.

@@Nickdefdis I don’t beat my metal parts on any of my rifles or pistols. It’s a sign of shoddy manufacturing tolerances.

I have seen people take thin sheets of plastic or even metal and shim it. I have not had any issues with mine, I have a BCM, ADM and Giessle mk14 hand guards and it fits like a glove. NOW would it fit a PSA or other brands who follow very loose QC/ tolerance practices… who knows.

@MH_6160 good to know! Thanks! im looking at one for my LMT mini recce build. A laser and light together in a small lightweight package with ambi controls at the 12 sounds super appealing... though i did consider getting a PSA jakl as well as a sort of next gen rifle build... we'll have to see with that when the time comes as i hear their rails can be a little out of spec. I guess there are other models of the gl4 that have better reliability of interface too, so that may be something to consider as well.
