Glad you enjoyed the video! Yeah the reason for why the audio loves right ear is because the devs forgot/did't properly align the gun, in FE Gun Kit case its the attachments. This is why I balance the audio in some of my videos

I'm honestly kind of sad seeing the bad reputation ACS has. I've been actually working on my onw ACS game, simply to prove that they can, indeed, be good (One of the things I'm doing is at least not mess up the sounds and animations lol). It actually can be a good engine, if you put time and effort on it that is. Sadly most ACS "games", if they can even be called that, are simple cashgrabs titled "Realistic guns" when they usually don't have anything realistic. They're just loads of free models and guns that haven't even been created by the "dev" of the game which all make up for an awful experience. That's why most ACS games suck

ACS is pretty trash if you won't mod it. Its pretty sad that those "realistic" ACS games are just cashgrabs and they don't care. As a developer who uses ACS to make games, I drop 3 hours into making a simple CFrame animation to atleast show orginality and actual work. ( I posted videos of my animations, they look bad but I was just practicing )

I've checked your anims, and I must say that they are, (at least), better than 90% of copy-paste ACS animations because I see that there are efforts put into making them (The AR-15 is a bit weird tho). I understand that making CFrame animation is hard, very hard. However, that does not excuse to make a shit quick cash-grab game with "realistic"/"Tactical" slap over it.

tbh the hd guns game isn't that bad, could be a lot worse, i myself make mediocre(ish) gun animations and most pain be but there is alot of room for improvment on alot of these lol (LIKE LEARNING THE GRAPH EDITOR, PLEASE IT"S NOT THAT HARD FOR GUNS)

Everything, except for the grenade launcher, have good animations, unfortunately, the sounds don't. Who da fuck use Graprh Editor anyway. The Chad chuds (me) animate frame by frame. (For real tho that Graph for me is confusing and hard af)

The animations at the start of the video are CFrame animated. CFrame is coded animation and is in relation to Phantom Forces, that's the reason why Phantom Forces animations are simple and not that impressive. It gets the job done and is seen in a lot of older FPS Games, but some other new FPS games use them because of their ease, like with ACS. ACS uses recycled animation so that's why all of the animations are close to the same.

no, they're tween animations, but you have the basic premise. acs doesn't always use recycled animations and some people actually try and make good acs animations, it's no fault of the creator of acs.

Well not all ACS games are bad. Syrian Shenanigans is one of them. Even though the animations are total dogshit shit (ACS duh), I found the game itself is pretty fun, especially when playing with frends. Imo, custom FE Gun Kit is always better. ACSM is another good option for a game.

oh of course the first ones are acs... now, there are super good cframe animations like pf and some other older games, but, for some unknown reason, people just like to screw up acs animations, theyre so god awful

When I ask people, they said that PF doesn't use CFrame but rather, Procedural Animations. Basically, alot of MAths. And I guess making ACS anims is difficult. Luckily, ACSM (or the one i forgot the name) exists.

There are FUN games even with ACS. But just like Unity, ACS is notorious for most shitty-ass "tactical" FPS games with few hidden gems under it. All because it's easy to access.
