How To Trace An Image To Vector with Illustrator | Color and Monotone

In this tutorial I’ll be demonstrating how to trace and image to vector with Illustrator, both in color and in monotone. For this lesson I’ll be using the Image Trace feature in Adobe Illustrator, which allows us to make auto tracings of images as opposed to manually tracing them with something like the Pen Tool.

Before, I only knew to get vector image, one must use graphic tablet to draw. Now I know the trick.. Milion times easier than using a tablet. Thanks alot sir ! You gain a new subscriber :)

Omg, at first I was thinking, wait I know this intro and then I hear a familiar voice. I was confused because this is Illustrator tutorial and the voice and intro is from my favorite Inkscape tutorials 😊. I still have Inkscape on my laptop even though I don't use it for couple of months but I just love it. Thank you for great tutorial as always.

Can you teach how to finalize vector design for printing or proofing in illustrator? For example tag cards, bed sheets, brouchers etc vector design.

I want to have this in only 4 colors however, I always end up having 17 or 18 colors... how to resolve that

Hi. Can you please tell me how to add color instead of it being a transparent image?? I want to make african american vectors. I know how to trace to get black and white but adding the skin color is my challenge. Thanks
