This is the guided access used in android phones, you can use this for several uses such as if you have a kid who is a KZfaq zombie and becomes cranky to giving back your mobile then use this guided access to automatically lock the phone after watching for some time. This is also used to pinning the screen in one App.
Also it is very useful to trace pictures from the phone, cause in my case when I had to draw little pictures for my daughters alphabet book I was not able to print every time so I just use to trace the pictures in a jiffy.
