Thanks for the interview. But, please, try to stop the constant nodding of the head. Your guests don't need this. They want to talk. You don't need to have them think you're really tuned in every second. And, again, the constant use of the word "perfect" is not necessary. It makes these interviews unwatchable. Sit back and relax.

SCALING UP : 20:05 scaling up- VERY QUICK, 21:00 - few 5%, maybe 1 of 25%, from 25% to 50% exposure possible concentration in existing buys/ or new larger positions, 50 to 100% very concentrated less than 4 weeks, 24:30 leading stock means earliest movers

Great clip and thanks gents. One question. When Mark bought Amgen in 1990, it looked liked it was just above the 200 MA but it never satisfied the Minervini template. Does Mark jump ahead of that at times? Thanks.

that's something called experience and sense I'm quite sure, sometimes you breaks the rules when you know it is the time. Just like he said everyday he re-evaluate his positions and he starts to sell when the risks out-weights the rewards, that take much learning times and market cycles to master.

nope, he means to add instead of looking for positions to sell. But that only is for stage 3 trader and not stage 1 or 2 traders.

It’s all good Mark telling us when he bought DOCU or CISCO etc but one of the main points that he always misses (and Trader Lion never asks) is telling us when he sells. How did he trade it? Did he sell at 20%? 50%? 250%? Why is this critical point always missing??

Selling is the most unique part of trading. Mark will use the results over his last 10-15 trades to inform him on the market environment. Trending environment he shoots for larger gains. Choppy environments he's selling larger portions into strength earlier in the move.

What is Mark's CAGR? He says that he makes triple digit returns most of the years. Even if he did that for 20 out of 40 years of his career he must be billionaire by now. Is he?

correct but my guess is, when his account got big enough, he stopped using the whole amount and took out a lot out to finance a very luxurious lifestyle...plus the bigger the account, the bigger the position size and hence limiting the universe of stocks you can trade (u can only trade big cap, very liquid), making the original strategy less efficient (strategy very efficient for small caps). way harder to have triple digit returns with a 100mil account than with a 10k account...

His real whole portfolio performance is much less, if not, he would be a billionaire but this strategy is not scalable, but honestly something like 70-100m us$ is a good amount don’t need more
