@@TCTrading Can you help? I have TradingView hooked up to Tradovate and I purchased the CME data bundle through Tradovate. I'm trading Micros. None of my 1 min charts work, they are missing tons of candles. Even the 5 min charts are missing candles and the Forex pairs are only readable at 1 hour and above. Do I need data from TradingView?

Tradovate is a broker & Tradingview is just a market chart platform… you can’t make money with tradingview alone. You have to connect your broker to tradingview.

hey... how do we close partials...so if I enter with 5 minis altogether because I want to get in the market quick without entering individually how do I close them partially ? because currently it doesn't give that option whenever I want to close which means I'm going to be waiting time putting in separate orders just to close 1 or 2 as partials...please let me know how I can take partials without doing that because it takes so long to put in 5 orders individually and its frustrating especially trading on the 1 minute which is fast at times

if you wanna take partials on a buy position you just click sell on however many contracts u wanna take off, only 2 buttons buy and sell

Thats the only thing I don't like about Tradovates, its bracket management system. Others like optimus, you can drag down from TV for your SL and your PT. It will show you the potential pnl as well.

I just tried out Tradovate. Quantower, or Optimus Flow (their version of Quantower), is much better in my opinion.

it's called a trailing stop loss. and no. That feature is not available on Trading View

Yeah unfortunately you will have to pay for it on both. I pay for the level 1 version bundles on Tradovate (rather then level 2) as it is much cheaper and then add the real time quotes to tradingview which is pretty cheap anyways.

in trading view with tradovate, when i enter one click order, i can not put stop loss and take profit any more. and TP & SL are not atached to te position so i can drag them up or down like i do on paper trading. does that have to do with tradovate? also i can not see position closed from previows days.

When i try trading, it still says “non-tradeable”… but i paid for market data on both tradeovate and trading view… I assume its because my funds haven’t transferred yet?

That would do it. Can always confirm this on your tradovate account and reach out to support for confirmation. But most likely it there is an issue on the brokers end

Yes. Kinda sucks, but that is what I have been told by support when asked. TradingView at least is pretty cheap for real time anyway so it doesn't add too much to what you would need to pay anyway

Simple, divide the capital amount by $500 (for ES) or $50 (for MES,) so ... 10k/$500 = max 20 ES cons 10k/$50 = max 200 MES cons

Hey Man , 1st off thank you for the video very explanatory and simple. But I have an issue I cant resolve, if you look between 6:10-6:15 on this video it show not able to trade this symbol . I can not get rid of that on my screen and make a trade. I 100 percent have my demo account linked because it shows me the demo funds . Just so you're aware I am trying to trade gold and also tried to trade Tesla and it shows me the same screen. Even when I try to trade using me Webull account it shows that. Please if you can help solve this that would be gladly appreciated. I Have been paper trading though trading views paper trading broker and am in love with the this set up.

You may have a data feed issue. If you do not have the real time quotes through your broker that may be the cause of the problem. It is a pain because it costs more money, but unfortunately thats they do things

youre buying the contract, not the price of the instrument. its different than stocks.

Futures goes from contracts/lots. 1 Lot of /ES is equal to $50 or $12.5 per tick.

I believe the exchanges charge for the data, not the broker. You are also charged more if you work for a FINRA member firm because you are considered a “professional.” Source: I’ve worked for a FINRA member firm.
