In this video I am training against my good friend and student Big Suke. The reason I recorded our roll is because I wanted to educate the rest of my students on how to train with big people.
As a smaller person (170lbs) training against 260lbs+ giant strong man like Big Suke, there is some precautions one most take in order to not get hurt.
Suke is the nicest guy there, however, he is also the biggest and strongest person I have ever seen, with that said, his sheer strength moving sometimes can crush a little person if they land wrong. For example if a back roll goes wrong with big Suke on Top of you, you can get seriously hurt.
When training with bigger opponents our jiu jitsu becomes limited, the moves that would normally work, might not, and there is only a few moves that would work against an opponent of much bigger size.
You must use speed and technique in order to beat his massive strength difference.
