Wait until they are able to bend without breakage. If you got a bare root the new growth should be sturdy enough.

Glad to see you here. We have t dealt with it much as we use a foliage spray from IV Organic but you could also use 3 Tbsp baking soda and 1 gallon water for a spray. The rust spot is fro. Either rain or watering over the top. We mulch around the bottom so that backsplash doesn’t get in the foliage. Hope this helps. Yes we are very much looking forward to it covering the fence.

Definitely and that will be another video when winter arrives. This is a new zone and in our last zone 8a we didn’t have to worry about freezing. We plan to mulch and cover the container with burlap to avoid them from freezing. Very great question and we are so excited to see what kind of show we will get from this rose. 💚💚💚💚💚💚

This is part sun but it all depends on your roses growing habit and conditions. That’s what is do great about growing in containers, you can move them.

This is a urn shaped 7 to 10 gallon container with about a 15 inch diameter on top.

Yes they can survive for quite a long time. Up potting will surely have thrive a lot more.

Just twine. Just about anything will work but in brick I suggest either use sticky strips or drill eye hooks into the mortar of the bricks. Hope you get one and it grows beautifully for you.💚💚💚💚💚💚

Soon as you have at least four main canes you can prune the rest off and do this in late winter to early spring in colder climates.

The black spot we usually pull those leaves by hand. If it gets worse we spray it with bayer but only at night. Around here is the worst we have seen with black spot and only started getting it because of the rain. In more humid environments it shows up more. When I’m North Carolina I used a product from IV organics which is a milky mixture to protect the leaves. Again here we haven’t sprayed at all it’s been a few and we just pick them off. The only time you need to worry about air circulation is really in shrub roses that are really bushy and prevented from the circulation. 💚💚💚💚💚💚

Garden Obsessions Thank you! I am desperate, the black spot is crazy bad this year, I had to dig up and throw out a rose that i had for 17 years! I use to spray everything and anything, but now only use Neem oil. To be successful with that you have to be diligent and it gets expensive. I love roses and give them one more year lol.

Conventionally, yes proper garden ties are best. I did state that you do not want to make them so tight if you choose to use something other than garden ties. Even proper garden ties can injure a rose cane if left un checked or to tight. 💚💚💚💚💚💚

If you could remove them and wrap them in a bundle with burlap that would do the trick. Also laying them in the ground covered with mulch as much as you can. Because ours are in a container it’s much harder but it doesn’t get as cold here. You can place burlap on them as well while they are attached. Not as attractive but it works. 💚💚💚💚💚💚
