"The ministry in church have been an absolute blessing to me. I know for sure that I didn't come across your channel by mistake. The power of the holy spirit moves in your church. These days there are a lot of churches that water down the word of God and all they have is feel good services but no change. A holy ghost Revival is needed big time in churches all over the world.

If you truly believe the only way to discipline a child is by hurting them, then you are not emotionally mature enough to have them. It is never ok to beat a child.

Lauren J, some of the scriptures the pastor quoted were descriptive (telling what was done in biblical times) rather than proscriptive (mandates to us). It is possible to use the bible as one's measuring rod - meaning the standard for behavior in one's home, without also physically hurting one's children to correct them. Personally, I cannot stomach the idea of assaulting a child or "whipping" them, because that is what was done to slaves, and I'm not raising a slave. So I asked the Lord what I should do. Here is some of what I got back in prayer. 1. Kids and adults are influenced by whatever media they consume. That means no ungodly children's TV shows, adult TV, songs, music videos, etc. can be allowed in my home. We don't go watch movies in the theaters or rent them for streaming if the content is something that is offensive to the Holy Spirit. We can use our free time to watch things that teach us things (eg cooking shows, watch programs that help us learn computer skills, consume media that teaches useful skills such how to invest in the stock market, etc). We weren't created to sit around and be entertained. We were created to worship the God who created us; we were created to develop our gifts and talents, then share them with others. 2. We cannot fully know God unless we know his word. Therefore, some of our free time is devoted to reading the word, completing study guides to further understand the word, and memorizing the word. In order to live out God's desires for us, we must be familiar enough with his word to understand his nature and desires. 3. God does not want me to present myself as a demi-god to my child. The rules are not so much "because I said so". Instead, the rules are because the book of such and such in chapter so and so teaches that God wants us to do xyz. Therefore, the rule in this home is that we do xyz instead of abc. It gets across to a child the idea that while I'm enforcing the rule, the rule exists because I'm submitted to God and I expect anyone who lives here to also be submitted to God. 4. There is a badly named DVD called 1-2-3 Magic, which has nothing to do with magic. Instead, it shows how to clearly define limits for kids, and how to correct their behavior in ways that are very effective without hitting if the child is being disobedient. It has been very helpful for me. I almost didn't look at the DVD because of the word Magic in the title, but after watching the DVD and reading the book a few times, I implemented the discipline concepts and found they worked quite well.

Thanks, for this wonderful word. I woke up this morning with a heavy heart and headache bc today is my son's 16th birthday. He's not doing well in his life academically or otherwise for that matter, and I'm afraid of him becoming a failure. I'm afraid for his future. He was away from us for 5 years, due to no fault of his own, just mistakes that my husband and myself made in the past. Unfortunately, our children suffered from our mistakes. We have not been good examples of what to grow up and become. However, we do know that God can turn a mess into a miracle and trials into triumphs. We were both irresponsible teens playing house and struggling to make it. But that is the past. We are now respectful law abiding citizens. We are becoming anew now with no credit given to ourselves. All glory and credit goes to God!!! Anyhow, we got them bk in 2013, he was12. Our other two children are fine for the most part. They are healing rather well. But our oldest not so much. We believe he was affected the most bc he was older and understood the most. However, feeling bad about him being gone my husband and I let him get away with not doing well in school hoping things would change as time went on. We weren't consistent with our means of discipline bc honestly we didn't know how to parent them/him. I wanted to spank him. My husband didn't. We were divided forever on the matter. To be honest, we were divided as a couple on a number of issues as well. We are just now really becoming one. However, we have tried everything!!! I do mean everything! We have tried spankings, bribes, lectures, taking things, counseling, yelling, threatening, crying (me), begging, pleading, homeschool.... you name it, we have tried it! Nothing works! Now he is lazy in almost everything except playing video games and only does what needs to be done when we stay on him about it. He's quiet and stays to himself. He's not a mouthing off type of kid, in fact he's kind of passive aggressive. We don't know what to do to help him. The sad part is that we know he's capable. He could be great at anything. He's a natural at almost everything he tries, but lack discipline, drive, and motivation. He's could be really smart in school, but he choses not to do the work. He's told me he just doesn't care about school and he believes that school is a waste of time bc it doesn't teach you how to deal with real life issues like how to make your family function properly. We know it is a form of rebellion against us, like I said we have made a lot of mistakes. Although, we are trying and have apologized to him and his siblings. He really doesn't forgive us or himself for falling behind in school. We have been through so much in our family and are just now really starting to heal. We are just now beginning to get things in order. Sometimes I feel like our lives are a lost cause, but then I remember God's word and promises to His people. Then I become hopeful again. My husband and I are now saved. We are kind of still toddlers in Christ. What I mean is.... we are really starting to understand, practice, and believe God's word. We both really enjoy your messages and feel you are a true follower of Jesus Christ. For that we are grateful. There aren't many true followers that set a good example and really breaks down God's word. Anyhow, I'm glad I listened to this message today bc it let me that I am in connection with Christ and that he knows my heart and understands my pain. What are the odds that you preached/posted this word just yesterday?!! I honestly felt a true connection to God bc of this coincidence. Not that I really think it was a coincidence. Anyhow, I'm typing this to ask if you could please pray for our family, especially our oldest son? We are praying as well. However, it is just us. We don't have any family nearby. We are all alone and are relying on God alone. We attend a church that is spiritually dead in a sense. We have looked for a different church, but they all fall short in a sense bc there is no balance. Either too much of preaching the word and not enough practicing it, not enough word and too much of people just running around acting like they caught the Holy Ghost, people preaching contrary to what the Bible says, or people only hooping and hollering after reading 1 or 2 scriptures out of the Bible and leaving us wondering: Ok, what was the word about?, or people reading 1 or two lines out of the Bible and then start talking about politics. Once we even attended a church that was instructing its congregation that slavery wasn't wrong and if it happened again that those enslaved should submit to their masters and be obedient-- this was rt before the election and needless to say we were some of the only blacks visiting the church that day.... and some of their other members that had melanin in their skin were Africans that had just come to the United States. I don't think they fully understood what was being said. It felt more like a cult, than a church. If freaked me out, upset my husband, and scared our children. The church we now attend, it's only issue it that the pastor is related to all of his members, only some outsiders. The church has been in operation for almost 20 years and has never grown and is spiritually dead. Members don't sing or stand during praise and worship. He preaches from the Bible, but drags on and on, and takes forever to get to the point of his message. Sometimes, there is no point at all. He also doesn't practice what he preaches. He just wants to be a superstar in his family's eyes (which is idolatry.... worshipping himself). He doesn't really allow anyone else to preach at the church except women. He is insecure when it comes to men. However, he does preach from the Bible and make the word clear sometimes. He's just trapped in fear. I can sense that. So, I pray he is set free soon. We see that there is hope in this church and it is better than ALL of the other churches we have attended. Anyhow, we are all well intentioned people, however sometimes our execution falls short. However, we are now arriving to a place where we have enough sense, courage, and faith to get bk up and get bk in line. I just pray it's not too late for our oldest son. I'm afraid of him becoming a failure bc of our mistakes. I'm afraid for his future. I know at some point he will realize his mistakes as well. But I also know we gave him a rocky start. I know we will only be held accountable for the part we played in creating this mess. But my heart is heavy bc I/we want the best for all of our children. We love each other and our children. Always have and always will. Yes, we made mistakes mostly out of trying to provide for them. We were 100% honest with them. That's why our other two kids forgive us for the most part. That is also why the judge allowed us to finally have our children bk. We are turning ourselves around daily. We are fighting the good fight daily and yes it is a struggle. But we have decided that we won't give up and that we are in this for the long hall. Till death do us part. Committed to God, each other, our children, and our community. With all this being said again I ask will you please pray for our family? We know that there are a lot of people hoping, wishing, praying for our demise. We know bc we have been told this to our faces. That people hate us just bc we look "untouched." Most don't even know all of the battles we have faced, gone through, and overcame. We have defied every odd! We know it's not us. It's nothing, but GOD!!! However, it would be nice to know that we have someone real praying for our family. Thank you in advance. In Jesus mighty name. Amen. ~The Smith Family

Dear Miss Francene, I don't know when you're going to see this, because I only found this message today, but you posted your question four years ago. There is a way of praying called binding and loosing, based on Matthew 18:18 “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Simply put, you bind your mind and your child's mind to the mind of Christ, so that his thoughts guide yours. You loose from your mind and your child's minds any strongholds that let you hang on to wrong thoughts, attitudes, desires, beliefs, or behaviors. There is a book that explains this teaching more in depth, called Shattering Your Strongholds by Liberty Savard.Chapter9 in this book shows ways to pray that will reverse the effects of parental mistakes that affect both minor and adult children. These are not prayers that you say once and then you're done. They are prayers that you integrate into your ongoing prayer life. The prayers help you cooperate with the process of being transformed into the image of Christ. That process doesn't happen overnight, and it only happens with continued prayer and attention to things the Holy Spirit shows you to pray about as you do the binding and loosing prayers. Please read Matthew 18:18, then please get the book and put it into practice. I found the book before I was a mother, and now that I am a mother, I realize how very important it is to continue praying this scripture and others over my child and myself. This is how to arrest generational curses and keep them from continuing to affect generation after generation in your family.

There are parts of the message that I think are on point. However, he seems to criticize (6 min mark) the idea of asking your child what they would like for dinner. While it's not realistic, reasonable, or desirable to do this EVERY day, it's important for them to be able to offer their input at some point in time so that they understand their feelings and opinions matter. Furthermore, it becomes an opportunity to get them involved in meal planning and understanding what a balanced meal should consist of, and learning what a reasonable serving size of something looks like. For example, it so happens that my child likes squash, zucchini, green beans, peas, spinach, and broccoli. He's not a huge fan of cabbage. Why wouldn't I want to make sure that some of our meals include veggies that he likes? All of our dinner meals may not, and it then becomes an opportunity to help the child understand that sometimes we get what we want, and other times, we get what we get. Either way, if it's nutritious, we will eat it and be grateful we aren't going to bed hungry.

It's time wake up and learn the truth brothers and sisters before it's to late Romans 10:2-3King James Version (KJV) 2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. Our brothers and sisters have established their own righteousness but not according to our heavenly Father righteousness, they not submitted themselves fully unto our heavenly Father because they don't keep the Law's, Statutes and commandments. Malachi 2:7King James Version (KJV) 7 For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts. The knowledge is the commandments and he should seek them day and night. Isaiah 29:13King James Version (KJV) 13 Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: A lot of our brothers and sisters claim they're already save and call on the name of our heavenly Father and Christ but it's all lip service because they don't keep the commandments. They have really removed their mind far from the heavenly Father and their fear towards him has been taught by the precept off man. They don't understand that his righteous judgment will be upon them if they keep sinning. Micah 3:11King James Version (KJV) 11 The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the Lord, and say, Is not the Lord among us? none evil can come upon us. These pastors teach for hire using our heavenly Father as platform to get rich while deceiving his chosen people. They will be judged for all the deceitful things they have done. But some of our brothers and sisters follow right behind them because they might have a title behind their name that they give to themselves Matthew 7:21-23King James Version (KJV) 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Only our brothers and sisters that do the will of the Father shall enter into the kingdom. What is the will of the Father? Psalm 40:8 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? Many going say Lord haven't we not prophesied in your name? And in thy name done many wonderful works. See we think just because call on the name of Christ in church and pay tithe to a pimping pastor that some how we going make it heaven. 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. He going say depart from me I never knew you, ye that sin and don't follow the commandments. According to 1 john 3:4 sin is anybody who don't follow the Law's, Statutes, and Commandments. Isaiah 56:10-11King James Version (KJV) 10 His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. These so called pastors are all ignorant to the Most High righteousness, 11 Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. These so called pastors lack wisdom, knowledge and understanding, and they can never get enough. Ezekiel 3:17King James Version (KJV) 17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. So called pastors supposed be watchman for the house of Israel not the whole world to give warnings from the Most High to his chosen people, which is you so called black negros that were disperse throughout North, South central America, down in the Caribbean islands, up in Canada and scatter throughout thefour corners of the earth by product of the transatlantic slave trade you are the children of Israel.

CHRISTIAN ADVICE FOR NEW PARENTS - The most effective way to quell a rebellious mind in children is to put the fear of God into them when they first start to trust the word of adults, couple this with a generous serving of guilt and you are on your way to a mostly harmonious journey through their childhood. As soon as they can comprehend you should tell them that there is a man in the sky continually watching them and writing down everything they say and do, they should be grateful that this invisible Skydaddy created them and allowed them to live, but don`t step out of line kids because there is a place he will send you which is full of horror. Have other adults reinforce your beliefs and keep pumping it into them so that they will spend a good deal of their young lives feeling guilty, paranoid and unworthy. When they reach puberty explain the sins of the flesh, Jesus expects them to remain pure and you are letting him down if you experiment or think about sex, really pour it on about their responsibility to the invisible man, keep a close eye on everything they say and do, remind them that there are bad demons out there trying to get them to stray so that they can throw them into the burning pit. At about age 17 your teenagers will start to question your beliefs and will begin to explore other attitudes and beliefs in this big wide world, STAMP OUT THIS BEHAVIOR IMMEDIATELY, through punishment, nagging and more guilt trips, really lay it on, you can`t have children thinking for themselves. By now the guilt and paranoia will be deeply ingrained into their personality and you can manage their minds if you see any danger signals, encourage them to only mix with people of their own color and faith. Age twenty they will have started to form relationships with people you approve of and the responsibility for keeping them in line now rests with their new partners, you can begin to relax. Early 20s they will leave home and marry, they will employ all the strategies you used in their upbringing on their own children, you can help them with this. CONGRATULATIONS you have succeeded in raising religious, guilt ridden, paranoid robots who have caused you minimum fuss and dramas, you can relax now, light up a joint, bring out the bourbon and go about the remainder of your life with the feeling of self satisfaction and condemnation for all the other failures who didn`t follow the instructions of the invisible Skydaddy, Praise the Lord.

Lili What I mean is that, do you actually believe this is the right way to raise a kid, or is this sarcasm? In some spots it’s difficult to determine

@@laurenj432 Of course it's sarcasm, but this scenario is exactly the way a lot of so called Christians view the right way to raise their little robots, put the fear of being burned alive into them, make them feel guilty and unworthy all the way during their childhood, if you think this is far fetched you should watch some KZfaq videos on 'Gloriavale' and Neville Cooper.

Lili I’m so glad🥰 on these channels it’s hard to tell who is really into that kind of thinking. I know wonderful and loving religious people but I also know some abusive ones
