What about backup and restore third-party apps? As far as I know Google Backup makes Google apps copy only.

Pls try to move whatsapp business to whatsapp regular and then try to move whatsaapp regular from iphone to android.

I tried. Didn't work. Every time I contacted the wire to the old iPhone, I didn't see the option of transferring Whatsapp. Till I figured it out. "BEFORE" connecting the lighting cable to the old iPhone - you must go to Whatsapp settings and start "move char to android" and only then - You can connect the lighting cable and have the option of transferring apps included Whatsapp!

Following every steps thing works well but "Importing Chat History" doesn't prompt out and directly requesting to key profile name.. after all, only whatsapp chat groups in my new phone with empty chat history. Assuming this works with a single sim card that is initially in the iPhone, at which point to you put the sim card in the Android phone ? I suppose this is before the second Android reset ?

Dude - not necessary, no issues even if you do it, all that is needed is you need to be able to get the verification sms and type it in when asked. pls try the exact steps shown even small deviation may give different set of screens or results.

My Iphone Whatsapp is tied to a Hotmail email account that I used for my Icloud backup, and my new setup for new phone is a google email account. Will this process still work? I have tried all your steps but I never get QR code during the wire transfer. I keep restoring my Whatsapp from my google drive backup(google pixel) and not my icloud backup (iphone)

Dude - Samsung may come with its own piece of software to do it, so interface could be little different, please have this video as reference and try it on your phone.

So basically you can't do this unless you reset your phone and/or if the cable convention doesn't work

Hello Friend - Not necessarily you need to reset your main phone. There is a trick, you just need any reset or new phone to migrate the WhatsApp to gdrive. Then you can just uninstall and reinstall WhatsApp, it will be downloaded from gdrive - hope it clarifies. Good Luck, and appreciate if you like the video and subscribe to my channel.
