Easier way to measure saddle setback is to put the rear wheel against a wall. Measure bracket to wall and subtract measurement of tip of saddle to wall.

If you measure Saddle Setback to the nose of the saddle, you will end up with different fits with longer nose vs short nose saddles! You need to measure to the "sit point" of the saddle (where your ischia rest) to get the same fit on different saddles.

I think most people run similar saddles across bikes so not an issue to use saddle nose. Be interesting to hear what Dan thinks r.e sit point.

Excellent video. I try to replicate the position on my road bike, should I allow for different pedal stack height when it comes to the saddle height ? I use Look Keo Road and Shimano SPD for the cross bike.
